Brunswick centennial restoration

For the love of god. Now you're trying to somehow take credit for this? It never ends this shit! And you wonder why folks bust your balls? Just shaking my head Glen.

Really, really nice work Mark. You're amazing!!

JC

Now that I think about it, I think you own Mark an apology as well for this kind of comment, you had no right to come in here and disrespect this thread with this kind of BS, then try and smooth it over with "nice work Mark" If you can't control your emotions any better than that, maybe you shouldn't even post here, this really pisses me off, but trust me, Mark will set you straight:rolleyes:

Glen

Mark, your work speaks for itself. Flawless. One of these days buddy, I'll commission your services for a centennial for me as well. If it plays anywhere as good as the Anniversary you set up for me, I may never leave home.

Doc...thanks brother.....don't worry when your ready to pull the trigger for a centennial...I'm going to make you come down to the shop and do some work on your own table.....that is if you can find anytime to get free from playing doctor.....LMAO

Thank you buddy.....you know my lines open to always

Mark Gregory

Thank you......I did the complete table......aluminum....rail work....and all the refinishing.
Took about 6 months.
Here's some before pic's......lot of work.View attachment 277505

I'll tell everyone the same thing, this is by far the best work I've ever seen come out of Mark's hands, bar none. He just keeps getting better and better at what he's doing to these pool tables. And it's not all that easy trust me, it's a learning process as you go, which is why Mark is going way beyond untouchable. Sure, there's restoration companies out here that do this exact line of work, and can turn out beautiful pool tables no doubt. But, they're only restoring the look of the pool tables, and not one of them companies...and I'd bet my last dollar on it, can make the table look so beautiful...AND play off the charts. Pool tables don't play like we'd like them to play, unless someone knows how to calibrate the rails and pockets to play that perfect way, and you'll never find that in a company that restores old pool tables to look so beautiful. So, keep that in mind if and when someone is thinking about sending their rails to someone else to have them restored. Do you want them to just look beautiful....or look beautiful and play as well as only the best tables in the world can play.

Think about it;)

Glen

Just had to go look again. And add a pic. Lol the master at work!

Man....I hate pic's of me......you won't find many if any of me playing pool.....back before they made cars...LMAO

Notice the gloves I'm wearing putting his table together.....keeps from fingering up the aluminum and rails.....good little secret to know.

I think you better ask Mark about me pushing him to post up JC, because you're treading on thin ice with this kind of a post in Marks thread!!

Absolutely true about Glen always wanting me to post....for years now.......trust me....everyone love props.......myself.....I feel kind of embarrassed when I post.

Glen wants me to post everything I do........I'm just not good at pics and posts.
But....I know how to thank everyone for all the kind words.....and I thank you all.

I just wish everyone could just.....maybe try harder to stay on track....and give Glen a break......that guy kills himself for peanuts on this kind of work.......I know how much I make.

Who has more passion about tables then Glen......or helping others in this field.....I mean the guy lives in his truck just to do this kind of work for people.

Man....I've spent many of nights in my car after losing playing pool.....very few....but you couldn't get a tow truck to pull me in the back of a truck and live just to fix tables.

So please....everyone give the man some air.....we all know by now the man has and ego....but so what.....he's not hurting anyone.

I told him yesterday to calm down a little....also told him.......why do want to be Shane....when your already Earl.

Lets all get on a better track....and show others the right way.....like the professionals we are.

Remember not everyone's going to like my work....or Glens work....but we give it are all everyday.....and that's all we can give......let me hit the lottery......I wouldn't touch another table other than to gamble on one....LMAO

Again thank you everyone for the props.....

PS: thanks Jack

That table is an outrageous display of the finely tuned master craftsmanship that you have developed through your life's work. I believe that Donald Deskey is smiling from above.

Furthermore, "you look marvelous" in the pic. Always remember the Crystal mantra:

That's funny......don't worry when I get the time to relax a little.....your going to wire my shop and we're going to redo your table again.

I have a lot better ways of doing rails and.....well lets just say.......when you see some things I do now.....you'll be happy to redo your table with me.

Hope all is well....hope to see ya soon.....stop by anytime....you know you never have to ask..

I've been waiting on the AZ bullies to jump me here in your thread...but, I think I kicked the shit out of them in my other tread to badly....so, they may not want anymore of what I've got to give back to them....:bash::smash::smile2:

Finally finished Dean's centennial....Brian White and Shane Johnson (cuephoric)....were a tremendous help with the set-up of the light and the table.
The light took 8 hours just to hang and wire it.

The table looks as if it don't match the rails and pedestals in the pic's.....it's the day light coming through the windows....the table all matched perfectly.
