Brunswick Centennial vs Aramith Super Pro

I have a Diamond table with Simonis. 860 have had the Super Aramith Pro And the Centenials. To me the Centenials are /seem much better. The shine has outlasted the Aramith ball. I feel like I clean them much less and I also have way less burn in the cloth I had the Brunswick cloth before, the Simonis is much better and plays a role in the upkeep of the equipment.

Dartman, thanks for the information! I ordered some Aramith
Ball Cleaner and some "Quick Clean" from Seyberts. I am going to vacuum the cloth off and use the Quick Clean on it. Then clean my standard Aramith's and go from there. For anyone interested I will take before and after pics of the cleaning from the Quick Clean, or maybe Dartman has some insight to this product. Thanks For All The Info!

The Aram ball cleaner is good stuff. As for the QuickClean, I'm not knocking it since it does a fairly good job but have never recommended it. Even tho it has high evaporative content it's still a foam type of cleaner which IMO doesn't get out as much chalk dust as a vacuum. If you had a regular worsted cloth I'd suggest getting the X1 but it won't work on teflon treated or non-worsted cloth.

What I've found over the years is that weekly vacuuming done right followed by a wipedown with a lightly damp microfiber towel works fine. Like I said, not knocking the QC but it costs $ and you most likely already have a vacuum and a microfiber towel at your house.

Dartman: When you say vacuum properly what do you mean? Should I:

1.) Use a regular carpet vacuum cleaner with a attachment.

or

2.) Use a Shop Vac "gently".

I don't mean to sound dumb, just want to do it right. Thanks!

Do the burn marks affect or "ruin" the cloth?

Are certain colors more susceptible to burn marks?

If burn marks don't affect anything except for visual annoyance than it appears as if white would be a good color.:ok: Using white cloth would help pool go green by eliminating the dyes that are used. White chalk could be used instead of colored. This would also keep the shafts and ferrules from getting blue.

Seems as if white would be the answer.

Shop vacs and beater bar attachments are overkill. A regular household carpet vacuum
with soft brush attachment like this works well. Doesn't take much to suck up chalk dust.

Championship offers white cloth in Titan Brite and Silver Cup has white chalk.
We sold a few cuts of white in the past and said to myself, mine is not to question why.

I use a similar attachment on a 1 hp Shop Vac to clean my Olhausen. I bought the Shop Vac at the suggestion of a forum member.
