Deno,

Do you have instructions for converting Old Brunswick to
European Rubber.

I've seen Kilbys site are the drawings accurate? Can't find
my documents on this and know 2 players that want to do
the conversion on their tables.

I think the Medford Elks converted all 9 of their tables to European rubber. Ken Higgins on the USBA website should be able to get you contact info.
 
Doing a conversion is really difficult becuase the old rails are higher than the new rails. What that means is that if you are going to convert the rails, the new rubber will sit further down on the rail so that there will be a gap from the top of the rubber to the top of the rail. The cloth will stretch and hide it, but when you put your hand on the rail, the cloth will sink to the top of the rubber and it is quite a strange feeling. If they are going to do it, you might want to search deja.com as I think several years ago I wrote an article on how to do it properly...but I can't remember the year. Put in several keywords and take a shot.

Conversion

You will probablly have to recut the angle on the rail to get the corect height. The profile of the old rubber and the new rubber are most likely not the same
