Who is they......

Don , who are the table mechanics that are coming to do your table ? I'm curious. If you don't mind me asking.

How long would it take to bring my table from the state it is in to a finished, ready to play state... including recovering and levelling? I ask because the mechanics are still not here but are saying they are coming tonight. I do not want them half assing this.

4 to 6 hours if done correctly.

Danny moore and his son Cody. It took them 6 hours. I am very pleased with the end result.

Thanks guys. I really want one of the brunswick lights but they're more than I paid for the table... if you can find one. I'll be keeping my eyes open. Until then, the LED cove lighting on each side of the room works surprisingly well. The painting is of and by Ronnie Wood of the rolling stones.

Make one! That's what I'm doing. I should wrap them up (building one for pocket) over the Holiday break.

Don, is the pocket shelfs where the balls fall off into the pockets straight up and down, or do they slope further back at the bottom of the shelf, meaning is there an angle/slope to the pocket shelf? A straight picture of the pocket shelf would be nice to be able to tell for sure.

Hey Don, I really like how your table turned out. I like the wood grain look of the 2’s and the blue cloth is a great choice. I hope you enjoy.

Tell us the story behind getting that painting, I’m curious.

I bought it at a foreclosure auction years back. It is #19 of 99 painted by ronnie wood. I don't know much else about it. I'd love to know it's value if anyone here knows this sort of info.

The table is all clothed now so I can't get any pics of the bare slate pockets.

The bronze feet are polishing up nice with just a rag. The table is stunning. I'm thrilled with how it came out. The electric blue cloth is tough to keep clean an "speck free" but it's totally worth the time to keep it looking ELECTRIC!

Thanks! I got new balls and 2 cuesol cues (cheapish but decent quality) on amazon. I'm enjoying playing again.

The table looks great. A roomba works amazingly well to keep the table clean, just let it do its thing each time you play and then cover the table. We've been doing that for years at a private place we have here, and the cloth stays really nice, very little chalk is evident when the cloth is replaced, and never anything under the rails.

If you can get an 800 series, they are even better than the one in the video. Much better suction and filtration.
I've scored a few off of eBay for $100

sheldon I'd never thought of that! We have a neato d5 which does better in corners than a rumba. Trying it now. Seems to work great!

Wow, I can't imagine the table ever being cleaner! The dog hair was from the floor... a previous vacuum. The blue was obviously from the new cloth. WOW!
