Tate is the expert, I would look at his web-page would have the answer you seek maybe. Also TitlistSucker, aka Raist Chin has some great Titlist information on his web-page.

Really, Tate knows about Titlists? Who is this Tate guy? He has A WEBSITE?!?!? I need to meet him.

The listing says "signed", which is misleading. Most of the Hoppes I've seen had the engraved name. It's not autographed, that I saw.

Seriously, Scott knows more about the logo dates than anybody else.



The logo was for sure in existence in 1961. Here is the 1961 catalog with the logo.

I often do get conflicting dates, where people are confused about when they bought something. But it's possible they started using the new logo when the brochure came out. They could also have had a ton of the old ones left over as well.

At least we know the logo was in existence at that time.
