Had to replace 5/8"ths of the finished wood behind the feather strip dado because of the nails being driven right up through the finish of the rails, as well as replace the whole sub-rails, added 2 more screws to each rail bolt anchor plate, braced up the timber frame of the table because it was sagging under the weight of the shimms I used to level the slates....of course the slates were not matching;) but they leveled up just the same....level;) Finally got everything back together...now all I have to do is install the drop pockets and skirts...and it's FINISHED!!!

Nice job Glenn. If more people could play on these tables after the type of rail work that you and Mark do, then they wouldn't hesitate to pay for the fees you charge. I feel like I received a bargain on my rails. I truly am indebted to Mark due to the extra mile that he went. My table plays great.

This is my LAST piece of shit to fix up. It's kind of a GC3...but with 3 different kinds of GC2 & 3 rails...ALL the floating nut plates are screwed up, split rails...nut plates bolted down so hard the wood on the bottom of the rails are bulging through so they're not even flat any more...what a nightmare.

That's your Colorado Springs table mechanic's at their best...including the Billiards store that SOLD this GC3 to the Elks Club;)...in this condition as well!

That's because you had one of the BEST "Billiards Technician's" on the face of this planet work on your rails...and did them RIGHT!...But if HE tries that MONGOOSE bs with me....I'm going to BITE him on his ass:rotflmao1:

Glen....the "Realkingcobra!;):D

Glen, you've done and awesome job...I could go on and on....the truth is I hope people don't think we are trying to say look at me....look what I can do with this piece of shit table....it's more trying to show the customers what can be done with the tables....and that we now know how to fix the older tables to play....well better than the new ones coming out. (IMO)

I just want everyone to understand...this kind of work wasn't offered before..as far as I'm aware.....best to find and older table...have the work done right...now you have a better playing table and less money in the table....than a new one.

The way the tables play when we're finished....well you just have to get one or play on one of them.....then let me know what you truly think.

Glen is with out doubt one of the most knowledgeable mechanic's I've ever met......he knows a lot more about tables than I do...for sure...but the knowledge we share with one another has gotten us to the point of perfection.

I don't mean to sound like I'm above everyone....cause I'm not even close...but these tables are coming out REALLY GOOD.

Glen..great work..stay awake the Mongoose is getting hungry...

You know me Mark, I've always been about "educate the customer, and you'll make the table mechanic EARN their pay, instead of taking the money and running";)

The only problem with that statement Mark...is who's going to be doing the work? Most table mechanic's don't give a shit about REALLY working on older pool tables to get them to play right...and there isn't enough of us that CAN to go around...so, I'm still in favor of buying new if at all possible.

Don't be so modest buddy...I may do a few things a little different than you do....but you're for sure at the top of the food chain when it comes to working on ANY pool table...I just wish more customers would demand more for their money...and help straighten out this industry....for the good of all those involved;)

And as far as your Mongoose goes...I'll PLAY like I'm sleeping...so you just go ahead and sneek up on me buddy:thumbup2:

Hope these pics do more justice for the table.
