brush on auto clear?

Anyone ever tried it? I know its supposed to be shot, but im just curious what would happen if you brush it on in very light coats.

I have brushed Auto Clear on years ago. But went back to spraying, before switching to Cue Cote.
 
Joe,one of the guys that used to post here (and you had words with) used a urethane clear under the Nason brand that was totally brushable.

I don't know what his exact process was,but I saw a couple examples of his finished product,and it came out NICE. Tommy D.
 
It will go on a little thicker. If you don't mind the thicker coat it works fine.
I think spraying is better. I have done both and I have gone back to spray.
 
never brushed

but i did use a piece of pipe and made a dip tank, worked o.k. finish came out very smooth, but as before mentioned it was thick. took a long time to dry.
