Howdy Folks,

Here's a basic set of three shots (progressive) for the Intermediate player.

This is a test of consistency - shoot each position 3 times.

A solid player can make the nine shot set.

If you come up less than 100%, work on the particular shot until you can pocket the 1 ball on closing your eyes before making the stroke.

Some feedback for you, imo, you need intended CB position after pocketing the ball when practicing any shot under the sun. Please add to your diagrams. They change the shot night and day, and a hit learned with one intended CB position, is not applicable in many case to another intended CB position.

I agree. Try shooting each shot using draw, center and follow to obtain position with said english.
 
These exercises are specifically only to improve pocketing skills.

There are other test groups in the book that cover pocketing AND getting shape to a specific location.
