Buddy Hall. Great one-pocket player?

There's a good Accu-Stats video of Buddy Hall playing Cliff Joyner 1-P at the DCC. I want to say it's from 2000? Anyway, their contrasting styles are certainly obvious. Cliff is aggressive and goes for more shots. Buddy is slow and controlled, and manages to win the set (race to 3)

I once saw Cliff and Buddy locked up in a serious one pocket tournament match and ALL 15 balls were down table (every one of them) and all of them stuck near one of the head string corner pockets with both players playing safe after safe (it almost looked like someone had racked them there. NO ONE was attempting to move the balls or make a shot as there was no pot to be made so they each just played safety after safety ad nauseum. Finally after about an hour of this Buddy looks up at the clock and tells Cliff, "You know there is a time limit on each match and in about 15 minutes this match is going to be over". Buddy was leading in the match at this time but they still had at least two or three possible games left in the match. Cliff paled severely and started trying to move the balls out one at a time, only to have Buddy pick them off everytime Cliff put one in play. It was kind of sad but funny at the same time. Buddy wins....without breaking a sweat. Cliff in the meantime needed a large, dry towel. Time, that day was Cliff's woman scorned.
