Buddy Hall Update

I gave Buddy a call today to touch base with him. Haven't spoken to him lately and just wanted to say hi.

I inquired about him playing in the U.S. OPen One Pocket Championship and he said he would probably not be playing in it.

He recently went through some recent health issues but is doing well now. The only problem was the health issues dug into his fun money so he said he probably wouldn't be going.

Buddy and I were scheduled to do some commentary together at The Galveston World Classic but his brother became seriously ill and Buddy had to stay home and take care of him. I lamented that I was still interested in doing some commentary with him and he assured me that he feels the same.

Buddy seemed to be in good spirits and I heard him talking about bread, you know, the kind you eat to someone who was going grocery shopping, probably his wife.

He told her to get some Rye Bread and when he came back to the phone I told him I have been heavy into All Wheat Bread but he promptly told me that the Rye Bread was king. He likes the Jewish Rye Bread. So there you have it from a pool champion, Rye Bread is the read of choice for top players. That's your pool tip of the week from The Rifleman, Buddy Hall.

I've been lurking for months on here in hopes of finding the secret to ball making, shapes and decisionmaking in the game of pool.

SEE YA AT THE US OPEN! SUCKERS!!! (you'll know who i am, i'll be the one tripping of moldy rye bread, trying to sell 'how to improve your game with 101 delicious sandwich recipes' books)

Hmmm... the French eat a lot of rye bread. Of course, it's sourdough rye. Maybe that makes a difference?
