Hello,I was wondering if anyone has built a spraybooth that spins the cues while being sprayed with a variable speed motor.Using a pulley type system to spray multiple cues at the same time.I would like to do this but I need some ideas.Any and all info would be appreciated even including some pics

Thanks

....................

These little motors work great. They turn very slow and have lots of power. My booth is small and holds 3 butts or shafts in any combo needed. I mounted 3 of these with bearings holding the other side of the cues. They spin the perfect speed to spray back and forth the length of the cue and not stop. Each has it's own on/off switch and they can run overnight with no problem. One has enough power to turn as many pulleys as you want. My first booth had one motor and ran 3 cues on belts and pulleys. When I upgraded my booth it was easier to mount 3 motors then build a chain system.

$20-$30 new. Their main use is oscillating fans and heaters. I bought old fans from the second hand store and took the motors and on/off switch out. $5 each.

Fantastic solution¡¡ and economical¡¡ but one question. this motor run at 3 rpm, is it sufficient ? have you pulleys instaled for increase rpm?

Hi,

I bought one of Lee's booths 4 years ago and I love it. Plug and play for sure. You can't go wrong with this booth!!

The slow RPM works perfect for me.

They have enough power to add pulleys to increase the speed. These little motors have more power then you'd think and they make no noise. They'd be great for shaft machines.

This one is not a booth with exhaust, but will show one way on how to build the front part of the booth to spin 4 cues. I prefer the chain method for spinning the cues as some of the stretch belt ones I made slipped.

This might be slight off subject, but if you are BUILDING CUES, you had better think about Protecting your Respiratory System before going crazy about other things.

Some woods that are used in Cue Making have VERY TOXIC Dust, many of the modern finishes are Highly Toxic, and can and will cause permanent.

FYI.
