Just getting some ideas on building up a wrap area on cues. Super glue will work, but dangerous around the finish. Sometimes we just need to build it a few thousandths and need some ideas on how you do it?

Thanks for sharing.

The fastest way is one I learned from rewrapping a cue that another cuemaker had rewrapped. He just wrapped masking tape around the whole groove. He laid it on flush without any over lapping. His wrap job was done at a tournament, so that made it fast and easy. In my shop I usually use epoxy and slow rotate the cue until it tacks up. I have also used that MinWax wood filler with the activator. I have also seen people use bondo.

Bondo is easy and pretty quick and is easier than epoxy to sand and make smooth again. Have also used masking tape if I am at a tournament in a real hurry but like bondo better.
