Just wanted to let you guys know that the ball polisher made with the bucket and a car polisher works like a charm. I hadn't cleaned my centenials since I bought them 8 months a go. They had the black marks from the pockets and looked terrible. Some car wax and about 5 minutes in the home made polisher and they looked brand new. I was amazed. It only took me about 15 mins. to make and since I already had a car polisher I never use the cost was minimal.

r.e.m carpert from lowes.... $4.00 (got enough to build like 10 of these

5 gallon bucket.... $2.00

duck tape...$4.00

It's not very elegant looking and also a little loud lol but I've used a friends $600 dollar diamond polisher and this did the job just as well.

well worth the 15 minutes it took to build it!

in case a newbie doesn't know what i'm talking about here's a link ..

That is my wife in that video. I remember Dee telling me for a year that she was going to make one but I was really surprised when she did and how great this polisher works. The important thing is to make sure you have all 15 balls plus the cue ball so the balls move smoothly during the polishing.

We use ours all the time and love it!

... next step, wood

I did the same but then decided to spend an afternoon perfecting it with wood. Found a piece of discarded 12" pipe for the polishing area and built a box. Heavy enough to absrd the vibrations and all stained up it looks like a real one

For the real lazy man's version. I got cheap oil drain pan, glued some carpet in it, threw the balls in and manually use the Royobi to polish them by just holding the polisher over the balls.

Funnily enough, I'm planning to start making a few of these polishers next week :) lol

I'll be making one for keeping my own set of centennials cleaned and polished and the other will be for use on the new Pro 9Ball tour that has recently started here in Ireland :)

Now that I made one a few of my friends want me to make one for them.

lmao

my step-dad has a brand new buffer somewhere that hasn't been used... (Yet :D ) and so, I'm gonna see try to conviscate that and cut the cost of buying 2 in 1/2 :D lol

Well, it's worth a try at least :D
