For Sale: 3 Scruggs and a Carmeli

I'm selling off part of my collection. All the cues (except the Scruggs Sneaky) are brand new and never been chalked or hit with, and rolls straight. I'm not looking for any trades, need the cash. Please pm me with questions you may have.

1st cue is a Scruggs Sneaky Pete. I bought it used but have since given it a refinish so the butt is like new with no dings or scratches. The TS logo is in the hoppe ring, not between the points. I haven't played with it since I refinished it. SOLD
Cue is 15.2 oz.
Shaft #1 - 3.8 oz. I think it's about a 12.5mm
Shaft #2 - 3.6 oz. 12.75mm, laminated


2nd cue - Scruggs 4 pointer. 4 points of cocobolo into birdseye maple. The veneer colors are white, yellow, blue, and black. White linen wrap with green specks. The buttsleeve is cocobolo as well. The joint is stainless steel with a piloted 5/16 x 14 pin. The cue is brand new and never been chalked. SOLD
Cue is 14.8 oz.
Shaft #1 - 3.8 oz. 13mm with the original TS joint protector.
Shaft #2 - 3.8 oz 13mm with TS joint protector.


3rd is a Scruggs 6 pointer. All the points are even and sharp. The forearm is birdseye maple and the 6 points are cocobolo. The veneer colors are black, orange, and green. The wrap is white linen with brown specks to match up with the cocobolo. Ivory hoppe ring. The joint is a highly figured solid piece of ivory with a radial pin. SOLD
Cue is 14.8 oz.
Shaft #1 - 3.4 oz 13mm with TS joint protector
Shaft #2 - 3.4 oz 13mm with TS joint protector


4th cue is an 8 point Ariel Carmeli. There are 4 high and 4 low amboyna burl points in the ebony forearm. Ebony recut points in the 4 high points. The joint and buttcap is phenolic, everything else that is white is ivory. The 6 ringwork alone has 48 ivory diamonds, 8 in each one. Segmented amboyna burl handle has some really nice figure. All inlays are ivory and malachite. $2,600
Cue is 15 oz.

I love that Tascarella on the far right!

I'm getting a cue built JUST like that except the joint type will be white instead of steel and my butt cap will be black with Hoppe ring instead of all white. I'm doing inlays the same as well except no dots in between. Now I know I made the right choice!!!

Thanks for the compliment, I'm sure you will be very happy when you get it! It has double green veneers....
 
Great Scruggs cues!

Wade may want the sneakie. My Scruggs six point cue all high points with veneers constructed like yours plays as sweet as it looks.
Absolutely stunning cues.The four point veneer cue is a steal at 2K new and unplayed. I will tell two azers that may have interest in your cue to get it.

Can you post a recient picture of the TS cues

Mr Anthony in N.Y. has great interest and would like to see a new picture. If he doesn't get the veneer cue I just might!

i'm sure the 6 pointer hits sweet with the fat ivory joint and radial pin, unfortunately...i have never even tried. (it's a shame)

selling everything to get out of the hobby..it's been a good 8 years collecting. after i sell off the scruggs and carmeli...i'm going to sell the 4 tascarellas as a package and then have to find someone who wants to take 5 motteys and 7 whites as a package/collection too.

You post 4 and then say Tasc sold? Which one? Is the Wrapless still for sale can we have specs and prices on them? Your best cues without prices and Specs?Seems Strange to me! Thanks,Ron

This is an old thread which I bumped to the top...I originally was only selling the one on the left (canarywood inlays), it was sold, but then the guy backed out so I currently still have all 4.

As soon as I'm done selling the Scruggs Sneaky Pete and the Carmeli, I will move on to the 4 Tascarellas. Specs will be posted. At this point, I'm looking for someone who is willing to take all 4. I just want them to stay together.
