Burt Kellerman pool cue auction List

Mr. Salamander

With all due respect ,the point of my last comment was you don't have to put you 2 cents in.

Vince Rowe

Then you could have said that. However, you choose to imply that I was disrespecting Mr. Kellerman and his family.

There was an earlier question in this post asking how the auction went and I responded (which I'm allowed to do) that it was a waste of time for me. At no time did I ever say that you ran a bad or poor auction. In fact, as I mentioned, I'm impressed that you were able to get the prices that you did. By the way, that was the consensus of most of the people that I talked to at the auction. It was obviously a successful venture for both you and the Kellerman family.

I've heard nothing but good things about Burt and I'm glad that his family was able to get decent money for his collection.

Carry on.

Right you are ...

Let's not rub salt in anyone's wounds!:sorry:

Mr Rowe may not realize it, but he's made an effort to lash out at someone that has made a business transaction with him; someone who has inadvertantly put food on HIS family's table. By that causality alone, a person who has as much a right to put his 2 cents in as anyone.

I am still glad that Bert's family can benefit from whatever prices were acheived. Ultimately, it means that he was able to provide for them even in his passing. Vince and company helped do just that.

This is just my 2 cents that no one asked for, but I think it needed to be said.

Please Don't post Prices

Since some would like to know what the cues went for, we can post the prices realized if no one objects.

Thanks to all who bid.

Vince
Hi Vince,
Please don't post the prices of the cues that I bought, I bought to sell and for some reason some people can't deal with the fact that a dollar could possibly be made. I myself could care less what someone else paid for an item, if I want it, I'll pay the price or I won't get it. These same people don't realize what expense it took in obtaining these cues. Travel, time and lodging. With that said, it was really nice to meet you and your wife, you're really great people.
By the way, I bought the Tad and it is for sale, anyone interested, please contact me.
Thank you,
Greg Howard 574-806-3425 cell.

Hey Greg,

It was great getting together with you on Saturday, thanks for breakfast.

As far as posting prices, I also hope that doesn't happen but since the
consensus is that we all paid too much we can just leave it at that....JMO...:withstupid:

Ted
It's only money, and your only passing through once.
Thanks again.
Now if you would like some of your money back, how about a pool lession or 100 for my hard headed butt.

Hope to see you Thursday
Vince

If you want to play a set, bring one of those cigar store indians, or an emerald encrusted cheese grater or something with you.

Were all of cues auctioned in the photo's on the web sight, or were there any that were not pictured?

So you have the Tad?

Guys, the

Tad wasnt the best pickup that we acquired. We really picked a good one up. I will say this, Greg did a lot of research and it really paid off. Sometime in the near future we will post our find.
