Burt Kellerman pool cue auction List

Can you please post instructions on how to bid online. Can the company ship the cue out to winner who bid online? I will be placing a few bid on some of the custom cues.

Regards,
Duc.

Same here,I'm with DUC,wanted to know,if possible to bid online and if you ship to germany.Sent you a PM last week.
Let us know please.

Ok Got the information...pretty simple to bid...just email your bid to them before the auction with the item number and bid amount to their email. There are some really nice cues in this auction. I have cash on hand, not looking to steal them but hoping to at least a fair price considering the market we're in.

Biding process

We can except phone bids or you may email them to us at rbarb@aol.com.
No payment or credit card information will be accepted until you win the cue you bid on. We do ship. Shipping charges will only be what they charge us.
We will then contact you with the total amount due.

When placing an email bid please send your name address and a contact phone number.

Thank You

In there a way for us to keep track on the live bidding and result? Are you guy setting up a web based video conference for this auction? I have a set budget for some of these cues, if one of my bid fail...I can re-allocate the amount to the remaining auction.

Thanks,
Duc.

One more thing. All cues will be open for inspection Monday afternoon Feb. 15th. 2 pool tables will be provided if you must roll a cue or 2.

If and when you place a phone bid I Vince, will give you a call next week to provide you with the run down on any cue. Meaning any scratches or dings and one last roll on the table for good measure so we are on the same page and have no problems with your purchase.

Thanks again
Vince

Hi Vince,

Beside shipping cost, any there any other associated cost or fee with my bid amount?

Regards,
Duc.

Forgotten detail sorry. 10% buyer's premium added to all purchases. Simply put if your bill is 100 it will be 110 at checkout and tax if no sales tax license.

Is anyone currently at the auction that can provide update on the live bids or know where the completed auction list can be view? I have a lot of bid submitted and curious if Vince had somewhere that show the live auction bidding updates.

Thanks,
Duc.

Auction

People were paying ridiculous prices for the cues. You probably didnt win a lot unless you bid retail prices.

I dont have all

of the details. I sent someone there with $$$$ to buy cues if there were deals and we didnt get too many. He said there was a lot of people there and the cues went high. He was checking the roll etc and a lot of the shafts had rolls in them. People still paid a lot though. Maybe they got caught up in the excitement??

Chris

I have a list of bids submitted for about 30 plus of the cues...most of the bid I have accounted for the 10% buyer premium and they are based on market price less 15% to 30%. If I could get them at those price in this market for resell then great but my guess is that I may only come through with 2-3 winners if I'm lucky. Hoping to hear some stories on some of these cues...the perry weston looks really awesome.

Regards,
Duc.

It was a total waste of time. Nobody at the auction seemed to know that we are in a recession. LOL

The prices in general were more than I've found here and on ebay. In fact, I had a hell of a time selling a Scruggs that was identical to one that sold at auction for $500 more than want I sold mine for.

The only good news was that I was not tempted in the least to bid....and I like buying cues. I also am enjoying seeing old friends in Denver.

On top of that, you tack on the 18% for buyers premium and tax and you've over payed big time. IMO

Oh, and the shafts on many of the cues were really warped. Good luck trying to flip that bunch.

My opnion:mad:-I don't think store front "Auction Houses" should be able to post there up coming auctions on Az. As this gentleman did! He is highjacking Free advertising for a free standing place of business, way wrong.
This guy has never sold anyting on Az. He has only 18 posts, my guess most have to do with his auction house or auction.
