Burton splices

That document of you, Chris should be The proof. It is no doubt that they were close friend and it is doubtless also that I would love to hit one sooooooo much :(

...something else: you mentioned above that you have some items (or at least pictures of them) that once belonged to Burton... I don't want to be a pain in the... or hurry you but I am very-very curious :o

I am interested....

I am interested in the content of the two books, especially the blank making book.
 
That book contains notes about certain blank making ways, ideas, methods and tells which cue maker prefered what.

Furthermore you may find notes about decent cue builders who has had something common with Burton - they were business partners, friends, etc.

I'll check tonight if I have missed anything and paste it here. It is a great book - exceedingly interesting / exciting and well complied.
 
Spain's journal is interesting. Nice story about Petersen too.
To some his opinions are dated.
