Can you install a Bushka ring on a one piece cue? I have a one piece hoppe cue and thinking about making it a two piece cue. Maybe put a wrap on it and a ring on the forearm. Thanks, Mitch

George did it on a cue and didn't cut the cue in half. He cut a groove and segmented the ring in two parts... The job was so well done it was hrd to see the seems... Good luck finding someone who would let alone could pull that off today...

Are you assuming this without the cue having been x ray?

With current equipment that is child's play. When George did it, it was
craftsmanship.
I must admit that I have never seen one of Georges cues where that was done.
It can also be done cutting the cue. With modern hi tech materials, the balance
would not be changed enough to be noticed.
Steve, even with today's "equipment", I don't think it could have been done much if any better than George did it... It was almost undetectable.. I only caught it because I saw a reflection come off the cue and when I looked closer I thought I was looking at a scratch in one of the silver rings. as I looked closer there were "scratches" in both silver rings across from each other and another pair exactly 180 apart. The black and white alternating ring seam was so well hidden because it was split inside the black....Very nice work..
Some of the stuff that George did was really amazing. I just took apart one of the window butt sleeves he did early in his career. The workmanship was incredible.
It still fit snugg. He did some things with the rings that was really well thought out.
I had to look at some of the work with a mag visor to figure out how he did it.
