Bustamante vs. Chao video: Wild hill-hill rack for $50K

This was from the 2001 Challenge of Champions and the match went to sudden death. One rack for $50K.

If you haven't seen it, this was one crazy wild rack. It starts with Chao scratching on the break (CB hangs forever before falling) and Busty plays a safe on the one ball, with the idea of ending it early via 3-fouls. This is one of the more exciting racks I've seen, especially given the situation and money. Unfortunately, the youtube feed is not in English so you don't get Hopkins going berserk, but you'll get the idea cuz the crowd goes nuts.

This is worth the watch. Did a search here and didn't find it, hope I'm not re-posting.

I watched this on ESPN last week, what a great final game. Amazing, what pressure. Hopkins was great, never heard him so excited doing a match before.

Damn, I must be the worst searcher ever (APA "1"). Just now I checked again under "Bustanmante - Chao" and simply under "Chao" and nothing comes up from yesterday with this video. At least not so I could tell from the title of the thread.

But yeah, I had tivo'd this recently and when I saw it just had to get it up on here for those that missed it.
 
Ah, hah! Searching for Bustamante and Chao would have been too obvious. You would have had to search for Busty and Pang!

Remember it well. Absolutely electrifying. Neither player was squeaky clean, but both were brilliant. I've seen matches that had fewer ebbs and flows than this rack.
