Yes Wedge •*30k to the Winner

The ambiguity of this post is offensive to the sensibilities of this forum. What is the asterisk all about? Is the 30k in US currency, or is it being paid off in wampum or drachma or something else?

These details are critical to those of us on the fence about buying the stream.

Freddie,
It would be great to see you there. There's a lot going on in Las Vegas during this time and plenty good reasons to go.

Best Wishes to Ya!

Are you guys going to have to go on a long dinner break around the CSI US Open 10 Ball (bar box) Championship PPV stream going on at the same time? :sorry:

Did an asterisk slip in there? There is nothing ambiguous about this match.

Each side is putting in $15K USD. The winner will win $30K USD. We do not promote fake matches with fake prize funds. If we were to hold an 'exhibition' we would promote it this way.

As for the CSI event happening on the last day, this was unavoidable. We already had these dates committed and CSI decided to change their dates after the fact. We've already spoken with Ozzy about this with our sincere apologies and clear intentions not to compete directly with CSI's event. I'd like to think that, in every respect my reputation speaks for itself, I've never actively worked to compete with another streamers PPV events. I have actually vowed a commitment to provide additional promotion of the CSI events throughout the duration of our West Coast Swing broadcasts in July.

Just to be clear, and this is a risk for me right now, as I'm on my fifth or sixth Woodford Reserve on the rocks, but my earlier post was an attempt of the jocular nature. I have every ounce of confidence that this match is on the legit.

Now, what kinda odds can a fella get on Busti?

You apologized to Ozzy and CSI for the fact they changed the date of their own event to conflict with yours?...

More or less apologized, when asked if we could move our dates once they realized the conflict but that's too much information anyway. Suffice to say, we had no intention of affecting their PPV event, but we wanted to give the public some more one-pocket and 9 foot table action at Good Timez, Vegas.

I'll take Busty Women over anything any day of the week!

I'm not sure why some people post something about 7 (why would you want an uneven number of em?) - I'll take 2, 4 tops (quite a lot to handle), thank you!

CSI date conflicts

The only reason CSI altered the dates of the US Open 8-Ball and US Open 10-Ball was because the WPA moved the world 9-Ball event to July 25-August 4th. It originally was a week later - (I believe).

None the less, we wanted to give the top players a chance to compete for the US Open title AND play in the world event. So we 'flipped the dates' between the 8,9, and 10 ball challenge with the US Open dates. We weren't aware of POV dates.

We don't have any heartburn with Daniels's event. We changed our dates because it was the best thing for more players. We were reacting to a date change of a World event.

Evidently there are not enough weeks in the year!! It would be nice if the WPA would have given a reason for the date change-but they deserve some space since it is a much larger event (in terms of payout and prestige).

Please don't try to create a problem where none exists, thank you:grin:

I know that Fargo still has a long way to go, and it doesn't necessarily compute which game/s a particular player is better at but, the overall percentage of a player on Fargo can be revealing when it comes to the better players.

Here's what I found on Fargo. Sweat betting on this event should be pretty good.

Thank You, Mark. I would like to mention also that, as soon as we discovered that the CSI dates were changed, our first call went out to the players and we gave the option to opt out of this match completely in lieu of playing the CSI events. Both players declined and stated that they really wanted to play this one-pocket match.

I'm sure when the time comes, I'll put my money on the Pinoy if everyone likes T-Rex.

Freddie <~~~ lay away, fellas

Although there are exceptions to every rule, I think "I'll take the Pinoy" is a pretty good rule of thumb when it comes to gambling on pool.
