BUTTERFLY EFFECT CHALLENGE - fullsplice cue for donation

I searched and didn’t see if it said already if you can pick the joint you want or how much extra to donate if so. Anyone help me out?

Also I'm adding a bit of customization to the challenge. 4 options with an extra cost and benefits.

1) Cue blank. It is free for a person who has participated in the challenge. You pay only $50 for delivery.

2) Cue butt with custom length, weight, balance point, jump/break split, joint type, ringwork, joint and bumper diameters. It costs $150 extra + delivery.

3) Complete cue with a plain black or white shaft. Custom length, weight, balance point, jump/break split, joint type, ringwork, joint and bumper diameters, tip type and diameter, shaft taper. It costs $200 extra + delivery

4) Complete cue with a spliced black or white shaft. Custom length, weight, balance point, jump/break split, joint type, ringwork, joint and bumper diameters, tip type and diameter, shaft taper. It costs $300 extra + delivery
 
I am going to need some JPs. A second shaft is a possibility. Plus, I want to cover the shipping. However, since I have opted for my cue to be shipped "last", I figure that I will wait until I hear that sending my rig is on Anton's horizon and address the minutiae. At some point I began to feel that the best thing we could do for Anton is to give him as much slack as was possible. Each of us has been is some type of situation in which pressure threatened us with paralysis. (If not, just wait.) And hopefully we all have also caught that refreshing, cool breeze respite of someone throwing in a life line -- nothing like it. Don't know Anton's exact circumstances, but I figured it could not hurt.
 
Am I not properly informed, or does anyone else find Anton's last two communications to be confusing or lacking detail? I feel certain this is a translation issue. These issues are too important to have to resort to guesses or assumptions.

Anton, please have someone check this out on your end.

I have written pages and read volumes on "saying what you mean/meaning what you say" wrestling with confusion arising from miscommunication in a single language. So when it comes to two languages, and two alphabets to boot . . .

1) There is a big city in Ukraine called Mariupol. 500k population before the war. In the March 2022 the city has been besiegemented by russian troops. For 3 month the battalion Azov with other ukrainian soldiers held the defense which ended up on a huge plant that producing steel - Azovstal is the name of this plant. It has been build in Soviet Union, so it was quite strong, with deep tonels and shelters. Russians have dropped huge bombs on that plant, attacked it from all sides, but they couldn't capture it.
Azovstal defenders have survived there with no food and water. Many injured, many dead. In the end commanders have ordered those defenders to "save lives of personnel" and went on some agreements with russians, Red Cross, Pontiff, UN and so on. I'm not sure the terms, but at least the proper care for P.O.W.
Instead they have got tortures and death in terract of Olenivka. More than 1000 of them are still remain in russian captivity. All thin and crippled. Condemned by russian authorities to life imprisonment. They are staying at ex Gulag prison system.
The first paragraph is all about it - P.O.W. exchange. All to all.

2) People of Russian Federation and the authority of Russian Federation are the agressor and occupier. All civilised world has to accept it. And make all their decisions based on this fact.
Of course there are good people, but as long as they are calling this act of genocyde in the east of Ukraine a "special war operation" and supporting accession of "new land" that is in fact a Ukrainian cities - they are accomplices of Putin.

3) Ukrainian soldiers on the battlefield are extremely in need of the modern weapons. Long range rockets, drones, explosives, equipment, vehicles. Anything that can be effectively used in killing the enemy. Ukraine is a huge country and it is rich on resources under our land, like titanium for example. It will be fair deal to exchange those resourses on modern weapons. We can call such a deal the "Source-lease" like it was during WW2 - the Land-lease.

United States, China and Europe have to be on the side of Ukraine. It is the only way to prevent WW3 and generate the World Peace First - the first global peace on our planet Earth.

I don't trust any media talking head politicians. But I'm pretty sure that those who have power to change the world are playing Billiards. And of course they are reading the biggest billiards community on the Planet.

A butterfly can flutter its wings over a flower in China and cause a hurricane in the Caribbean.

Thanks Anton, the media in the US has pretty much switched entirely to the puppet show of election time. It's pretty difficult for us to get info due to the language difference and it not being reported on much. We just get sound bites. Our media has a terrible attention span. I really appreciate the info of what's going on. Ukraine is in my heart and mind. Slava Ukraine!
 
I watch media, but trusting it is another story. I look at the invasion and occupation of Ukraine in terms of black and white -- no gray areas -- russia went into a place it did not belong and had no right to be. Just like an animal coming into my house in the middle of the night -- either it leaves or it must be destroyed. If I am unable to prevail on my own, I need and expect my neighbors to come to my aid, and together we will vanquish the intruder.
It has been this way since man first lived together in the Stone Age, and we fought evil with spears. It worked out this way because we learned the hard way -- if the animal successfully plundered and destroyed my cave one night, it would probably be in yours the next. This is the natural way which developed through necessity during our early struggle for survival. It is not fundamentally different today. It is the way men must continue to conduct themselves and their relationships with each other if we are to go on.

i am glad you are fighting for ukraine and they need to win . everyone is against what russia is doing.

but it also looks like you are supporting the palestine cause which calls for the of wiping out all of israel, and all its people off the face of the earth.
and the u.s. as well.
 
Want to do something for Anton? Take the "delivery" pressure attributable to your donation from his shoulders -- tell him you will wait to the end like I did. No, I am not crazy, not completely anyway. I just like to do good things for folks who deserve it, and Anton deserves it as he is doing a very good thing for all of us.

I took my cue from the queue a long time ago because I did not like how some folks were acting about delivery of their cue. (This was never a straightforward business transaction and should not have been treated as such -- at least not in my mind.) I figured Anton had plenty of pressures of every sort on him, so I decided to take at least one microscopic worry from him. Do I really care about getting my Butterfly Challenge Cue? You bet your sweet ass I do, but there are a few things associated with Ukraine and Anton which are way more important to me.

This is from my email to Anton today:
"I am Biloxi Boy on AZB. I am still proud to be, and remain, at the end of the list. As I previously advised, I do not expect delivery until everyone else has theirs. Just to make certain you have my correct info on your list, here is my current shipping info:"

I do not know if any of y'all are "built" anything like me, but I ask all of you to look deep inside and find what else there is that you are able to do for Anton and Ukraine and do it -- delay your delivery, buy another cue, tell others about the Butterfly Challenge (post something in your pool hall), talk to everyone about the war in Ukraine and what victory or defeat will mean for them, for Europe, for us . . . Especially in light of certain recent remarks made by certain of our politicians, it is more important than ever that we show the people of Ukraine, and the World, where the loyalty of America truly resides.

As for us, "We can pay it now, or pay it later."

All glory to Ukraine!
