Butting heads with an idiot!

I have over 300 Meucci cues in my personal collection and non of them are warped. Just saying

Im on the rig now and thankfully we are rained out so i can post:cool:

My coworker said if you would like 301 Meucci's then you can have it just for the shipping and handling....SERIOUS BUSINESS

no really im not joking,

Oh ok. Please refresh my memory I seem to have forgotten. So who's the idiot that started a thread making fun of some kid that spent too much on a Lucasi? :withstupid:

I promise you I am far from an idiot, the kid bought the cue from a pawn shop, the price on the cue was $50, I almost bought the cue for one of the kids that I give billiards lessons to until I did my homework and found out that they are made in China. I looked the cue up and the MSRP on it I think was $219 on the high end and the best price was $199. As for who I am, I own a ranch in Byhalia MS, the Meucci facility is on the property right next door to me. I have known Bob for 32 years and collected Meucci cues for many years. I am not going to set here and bump dick heads with you all day long. I know who I am, what I have and who I know. Hell I might be blind to the world and love Meucci cues that much just because I know Bob, oh well that is my choice. I sure like the way they play though. When you have something worth discussing or know a whole lot more about me, it really doesn't matter. Hell I should not have started this thread, I was just venting about the kid trying to insult my intelligence when he is blind to the game and a rookie to the game.

which ranch do you own?

if you do in fact own property fronting goodman road you are sitting on a gold mine with i-265 coming through there. wish i had held on to the 10 acres i sold on cayce road 10 years ago. it will probably sell for double what i sold it for back then.

Try again. I do like to support american products. Play with an ob, break with a viking, and drive fords.

Chicago is liberal. The rest of the state is conservative.

My apologies then. Right before I read this thread, I read a story about a school that would not let the kids sing "God Bless the USA", and it got my blood pressure up.

My family lives in Central Illinois, so I'm a fan.

Kevin you have a nice ebay thing going, I am quite impressed!

You wanna be impressed, watch later tonight when those Flora Danica Cup and Saucers get bid over the $400 per level. Those are for some real nice tea.

My closest cue maker is Ernie Gutierrez and because of what I do for a living, my expectations of the value of his product goes hand-in-hand with what I consider the marketplace, IE here at AZ and on eBay.

I own Lake Hill Quarter horses, it has been in my family for over 100 years. We do have land on Goodman RD, we have had people try and buy for gas station property and an apartment complex wanted it.

btw. are you the guy from collierville that had the gambler listed on e bay last year for 60,000.00 ?
Negative, never lived in Collierville although I did grow up shooting pool in Wilson's pool hall on the historic town square! I buy and collect Meucci's, I am not a seller!

No problem i read that story a month or so ago. Sad.

Where at in illinois?

MeucciMan can play with them sticks too, not just talk about them.

Why thank you Thommy, Thommy saw 4 of my Meucci's, I am living in Phoenix AZ at this time and have played with Thommy. When I moved out here I brought 4 of them with me to have something to shoot with. Thommy we need to get together and play some snooker soon buddy!

Im with MeucciMan79, I have owned all kinds of customs and currently own
6 Lambros, 1 paradise & the rest are meucci originals. My current player is a first brochure MO-1 which is one of my favorites. You can knock them all you want but Meucci Originals play great imho.

In all honesty I think a lot of people don't know how to feel the difference from one cue to the other, other than rolling it across a table to see if it is straight! Okay I am guilty of own another make of cue, I own a Schon, won it in a pool tournament as and added bonus to first place but have never even screwed it together. It is a beautiful cue and I think it retails for around $1400-$1600.
