JEDI, I got $700.00 PAYPAL for you if it doesn't sell.

Gonna give him a few more days before I leave negatiove feedback and file a report for non payment.

I'll keep it in mind and decide then...

I will more than likely do an auction on this spot here as I would rather have someone here have it then sell it to a stranger.

Not saying some here arent Strange mind you :p :p

Infact, I think the AZauction is a damned good idea...

:)

Easy there trigger. eBay policy quoted: Usually the seller must wait 7 days after a listing closes to file an Unpaid Item dispute.

Negative feedback should be your last step, not your first step. eBay's Policy

In our gogonownow world, people get so fired up if they aren't paid in seconds. Sometimes we need to slow down a little. I know it's hard for me as well.

Notice the smiley face, Hal....

As in being Facisous <sp>.

However, I posted my auction as payment to be received within 5 days of the closing of the auction. Bidding on said item was an agreement to those terms.

I wouldn't do anything untill that 5th day has arrived, and even then I would still try to reach that individual. The individual who has 3 prior "No Payment" feedback in the past 2 years....

you know what?

you know Short man...this was when I had nothing to do BUT sit at my cpu and watch/ comment. now I'm back to work and have plenty to do. you still don't have to like or even respect me for past actions, but you don't have to bring my name up every time someone else does something rash. maybe it was a joke, but it seems like you're the only (one of the only) person who keeps it going. I apologized and took care of the feedback...what more do you want? I just want to get along with the people on this site, as we all have something in common. we all LOVE pool!! do what you want, but if this is how it's going to be, it won't hurt my feelings TOO much. :(

Yes, best to be patient. Only leave negative as a last resort. I know it's hard to understand (and trust) when you're first doing this, but there are circumstances.

However, I would be concerned about the negatives on this buyer.

I have sold a lot of cues on e-bay, maybe 100 or more, and only had one non-pay. The guy said he mailed the check twice and of course hadn't.

I finally resold the cue after three weeks and it actually brought in more money the second time around.

Well I was convinced that I had been scammed on ebay. I sent payment to a person for a PS2 game on 7-13-05. I never received a game and the seller cancelled their ebay membership so I couldn't leave negative feedback. The seller continued to claim that the game was shipped. Today I received my money order labeled "return to sender". This was my first conflict in nearly 10 years of ebaying. I don't know what happened and I don't care. At least I got my money back.

Good story Hal!

One time early in my E-Bay career, I bought a Meucci from a guy in the mid- west. He wouldn't take Paypal or a credit card but said he would take a personal check. I mailed him a check from an investment brokerage account I had, which I barely used. Well, the brokerage had changed banks a few months before that and sent a letter to me saying "if you want checks, re-order". Those brokerages mail you a million things a month, so the notice just sat in the pile.

Because I seemed trustworthy, he mailed me the cue before the check cleared. In the meantime, the check bounced because the account was in another bank. It was the first time in my life a check I wrote had bounced. very embarassing. I e-mailed him and apologized, explained the story, and mailed him a good check.

A week later I get an e-mail saying the new check didn't arrive "what's going on, Chris?". I checked it out and, oh no, I had labeled the envelope on my computer and realized I mis-typed the zip code. I told him what happened and to give it a few more days

He writes back "well, I guess". I decided to call him up. It wasn't like he needed the cash - he was a big coin collector. I said - " if it doesn't get there in a few days I will overnight a cashier's check".

I guess I have a trustworthy voice - he did, it did, and we lived happily ever after. I left positive feedback first, he never left me any at all.

He was really a nice guy.

I sent another message to this individual about the Stick he won and still have not heard from him....

I just cant imagine bidding that kind of money on a cue stick, winning it, and then not wanting to get my hands on it as SOON as humanly possible....

I didn't sleep for 2 days awaiting this Schon to arrive when I first heard about it being for sale. I wanted it in my possesion THAT badly....

Kind of unsettling to me. But it's probably because I operate a little differently.

I already have this cue packed in a Cue Tube awaiting it to be paid for so I can get it off to the post office, ship it and get a tracing number...
