Calling all Delmarva Barbox Players

The tournaments would be on Saturdays, just incase there is an overflow into Sunday. And also we are thinking about doing a second chance tournament on Sunday for half the price. The races will depend on the amount of players we get but most likely 7 and 5.
 
When and where is the first tourney? What will the entry fee and payout structure look like? How often will they occur, weekly, monthly?

Give us something to spread the word about

We are shooting for September for our first tournament, location to be determined very soon. There will be a 25$ yearly membership fee to join the tour and the membership will give you discounts from our sponsors. Everything is still being ironed out with the tournament dues and the payouts will be determined by the size of the tournament. There will be cash payout as well as trophies for 1st thru 3rd.
The Tournaments will be monthly and then there will be a round robin tournament for our top 10 tour points leaders at the end of the season. The season will depend on how many bars we can get to participate. Hope I answered all your questions I could with the info I have. I will post more info as soon as I receive it. 8 Ball 5/3
9 Ball 6/3

• Top female will be paid $25, if three or more play. The more females that play, the higher the payout!
• Calcutta $5 minimum

Break contest
9 ball rack – each person gets to attempt to break 3x. A combination of the ball pocketed will be added up for a final score. Whoever has the most balls pocketed as a final score, wins the pot. Each person is allowed one chance per tournament. Tickets are $3 a piece. Ten numbers will be drawn per tournament.

Starting Sunday I will be in MD/DE for a week. I would love to check out some the rooms along the way. Any suggestions on places to play. I'm staying in Ocean City and don't mind driving. A drive would be well worth finding a proper room to play in.

Well, not sure what to say about the KOT_ .

I like him and he has been a valued member for a long time. I would have thought he'd have a bit more patience with the new folk, but honestly, the negative rep doesn't really mean anything at all, in the long run.

Pockets

Pockets is at the rt13 and rt 40 split they have 6 valleys there but it's about two hrs from oc.
