This was posted in the thread with all the pics, but since it's almost done, I'll put it in it's own.

If I manage to get this finished up tomorrow, I should have time to spray it and get it to Kenny Koo for the West Coast Cue Show.

Bottom has 4 sets of 4 Ivory Diamonds, which form a diamond. In the center of each of those is another Ivory Diamond bordered with .020" of Amboyna Burl. Double Ivory Diamonds between each of those.

I was originally going to put the Ivory Diamonds with the Amboyna in the points, but I don't think the Amboyna will show up. I've got another couple of ideas. I haven't decided on the ring at the joint yet. I may do diamonds or lazy s's. I don't want to do my other rings because there is no other silver or anything round in the cue. I'll figure it out tonight.

The butt cap is not currently glued in place. I just set it there, to give an idea of how it will look.

Fix your monitor. Maybe you could get a new one at Walmart Sully. While you're there, get an application. I hear they are hiring.

In case anybody is wondering what my outburst to Glen was related to, here are two quotes from him directed at me:

Sully / Nasc said:
It is time for you to take a job wher the most difficult question you have to ask is "do you want to super size your order".

and

I heard Walmart is looking for greeters. Fill out an application and move on.

Sh*t like that deserves no respect from me.

Don't worry about that guy, I don't see any of his work on here. This forum is loaded with people that like to critizize everyone else and their cue's well if they can do a better job tell them to post up some of their work . I think the cue looks great, keep up the good work Tony !!<<ED

LOL. I looked on another computer, same results. Sorry. 15 plus years as being a machinist, maybe I am to critical. I hope I didn't hit too close to home with my comment. Remember, practice makes better. As for the Walmart comment, are you trying to belittle the people who work there while taking a shot at me? Your words forever on the Internet.. PRICELESS.

Glen,
Call me Sully if you want

We all know you post here as Nasc and on Jimbo's site as Sully, so don't try and pretend like you don't know what I am talking about.

I don't give a shit if you have 15 years as a machinist or not. If you only have 15 years in the field, and you are clearly older than me, you must have failed at your first profession. You're probably failing as a machinist as well. If you weren't, you would know that a photograph is not a true representation of a machined part.

If there was a problem with the cue, I would shut up and take it. But since you don't have a clue what you are talking about, I am not going to sit by and listen to your bullshit.

For your information, I do not turn my CNC onto autopilot and let it cut my inlays. I do not rotate my cue even 1 degree until that complete section is finished. Even if that means I have to change my bit 50 extra times to get the job done. Everything in that cue is perfectly aligned.

Go fix yourself another drink and maybe you'll get a better picture. Better yet, go f**k yourself you coward. I put myself out there with everything I post. I can take criticism when it's deserved (and there has been plenty of that). However, I don't have any reason to listen to some drunk who posts under a different name on every forum he posts to who has absolutely no idea what he's talking about.

Tony, please do not give this "nasc" any attention or response. I know it is difficult to do, but the ignorant and "nascty" guys like him do not deserve your response. Summary, it is best not to fuel their fire!! Ignore them all. Myself and many others know how good your cues are crafted. Paul Del Giudice.

If you want to take posts out of context that is OK with me. Lets put all the threads from the other side concerning your cues.

Glen

Be my guest. I have nothing to hide. Anything that has been said over there has also been said over here. You might find 10 posts related to my cues over there. You'd be better off quoting anything that's been said over here if you're looking to justify your comments.

Fact of the matter is, this is the second time you have accused me of something not lining up.

The circles with the dots in the butt do not look centered with the diamonds to me.

If you could have possibly picked something else to critique, you may have been correct. But since you decide to pick something you don't have a clue about, I am not going to let it slide again. They lined up in the cue you commented about on Jimbo's site and they line up here.

Maybe it's time for the company you work for to do some drug testing. I would hate to see you cut one of your arms off on a machine because you were too drunk or stoned to be operating it.

Come on Mr. Master Machinist. Lets see photos of something you've done.

To the rest of you. I apologize for you having to read this garbage. I probably shouldn't have even responded, but if I have to sit here and read crap that is not true, I am going to have to defend myself. I will not respond to Glen's comments any longer in this thread.

Another really nice cue

I really like the multi-dimensional look of the Diamonds in the butt sleeve. Very nice work Tony keep it up.
Tony Zinzola is a Cuemaker with real integrity. His cues speak for themselves & I for one really appreciate him & his attn. to detail. Besides, he really does make a great playing cue too.
Just my 2 cents, I can't wait to see my cue. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Thank you,
Michael

Nice clean lines in that inlay work. I like the multi-facet diamond pattern in the butt!
I also like the blue/green paper bordering the outer black veneer. Kind of a nice glow against the oilive wood.
