It looks like a palmer to me but, you might want to contact Tate on here, he the Palmer expert, he could prob tell you right off.

It is an Adam AH-36 Corsair.

Value is a different story. Not overly collected, as they were production cues, but they are collected by some. Jayman is a collector of early Adam cues.

If I were to guess, I would say $500-650....maybe more depending on condition and getting the right person.

The cue is very "busy". I like the inlays and it's a nice cue. Palmer.

I'll take it off your hands for $100. It's worth more than $300+. Don't know much about Palmer and they only way to find out is Ebay.

Range: $300- 500?? My guess.

Very nice cue, it is an Adams Corsair and it is a very early model. The ferrules for these cues were screw on. The idea was that you could carry an extra ferrule with you and just change ferrules if needed to replace a tip. The cues were the top of the line Adams cues that were ever produced and the work in the cue was mainly hand done, so production of these cues was very time consuming. They only produced this model for around 3 or 4 years, and it came with the standard shaft with a non-removable ferrule or like the one you have. They also made a model of that cue Colored veneers around the cues points, but the price is about the same for either model.

Since the cues were made by Adam, the value has never appreciated to where it should be for all the work involved, but they are still collector cues and the collector value of the cue in a corrected market should be around $700 to $900 depending upon condition.

Oh and by the way, the screw on ferrules can still be found so do not change the shaft to accept a normal ferrule, it would decrease the value of the cue. If you decide to sell the cue, PM me I may be interested, but do not take less than $300 or $400 for it.

Take care

I'm with Bama on this one, and am 99% positive it is Adams, as I am sure he is. I didn't know that the early Adams had the screw on ferrules like this one, but it is nice to know. If it is a Palmer, I'll give you two guys + rep every day for the next year!

Correcto mundo, I've got one and they are very cool cues. I wouldn't sell mine for less than $600.

I appreciate all the help!

I went ahead and took some more pictures of it prior to reading all this. Here are the pics anyway, maybe it will seal the deal. I am very interested in selling it or possibly trading it. Let's here some offers :-)
