Can anyone ID this cue?

I picked this up at a Wichita pawn shop. Bob Owen at Shurtz has no idea who made it. Me neither. My guess (and only a guess) is maybe an early Randy Anderson? 5/16X18 pin. All ebony. Linen wrap. Linen phenolic butt collar (I think). Any guesses?
Thanks!

It kind of looks like a Huebler. Is the joint flat-faced ? does it have a nylon insert in the shaft? If it's a Huebler it would most likely have those two things.

I agree with Roger here. It definitely looks like a Huebler! And as he stated if it has a nylon insert in the shaft, that seals the deal.

Yes, it is a flat-face joint. Unfortunately the original shaft is long gone. Bob thought Heubler until he saw the joint sleeve close-up.

I have a Heubler that is very similar to this one with the same sleeve before the joint. Looks odd but it's most likely a Heubler.

I would have to say the cue is with little doubt a Heubler Cue, made by Paul Heubler from Linn Missouri. The joint pin, weight bolt, and the bumper leave little doubt, if there is a Nylon insert in the shaft that would make it even more so. The phenolic used below the stainless steel joint is also commonly used by Paul throughout the years, I used to live in Missouri and have met him many times, I even bought my first cue from Paul in approximately 1975.

Take care

I know that several Wichita players used Hueblers back in the 70's lending credence to the consensus here. It was in the same discount bin at the same pawn shop I found that Verl Horn at some time back.
Thanks all!
