Is this an Adam early 70s? If yes, can anyone identify the model. IMG_7825.jpgIMG_7826.jpgIMG_7827.jpgIMG_7828.jpgNo maker marks. A friend of mine recently gave it to me and it was his grandfather's.

Good friend, nice cue. An Adam almost certainly and the case as well - normally the Adam name would be somewhere on the case - usually stamped on the outside, but the name often faded.
Looks as if this cue and case are almost mint - if that tip is original than play on this cue was minimal for sure.
If this cue and case are as pristine as the photos appear than I would say that this is at least a $1,000 asking price .
I tend to price for quick sales and this could be offered for more as it is a super nice Vintage Adam combo!!

I am not sure the cue is an Adam although the pointed pin makes me believe it is and I believe the case and the extra shaft are Ginacue. The red interior and chiseled feet is what he used on his cases. And the spare shaft looks like it is 3/8x10 in your photo. Send him the photos.

its an ADAM cue and case. Very well preserved at that.

i never liked adam cues as much better ones existed then for not much more.

but do have to admit many or most of them hit and played very well.

i like more simple looking cues as i dont want spectators or other players paying attention to my cue or case for various reasons

Damn nice Adam example. I'll look for references in my files later.

EDIT: Adam AH/11 Drake is the closest I found. But the butt sleeve inlays are different, and so are the forearm inlays. I haven't found an exact match.

This is it in the 1973-74 catalog.

Another catalog, not sure of year.

AH/11 (page 6 of the below post).

Nice cue!
Yes, but I can’t find an exact match in my catalogs.

They made a lot of cues. I think this is a different model. Very similar.
