This cue was purchased by a Freind that doesn't really play pool. He thought he was told that it was a Scruggs when he bought it, I took pics of it and I don't see any markings at all. Also, it appears to have a phenolic ferrule, and also the joint didn't really look like ivory to me. It's a very yellowish material...The points are not even, I have a hard time believing it's a Scruggs but I'd like to gather input from the az land. He has it in an it's George case, so I know he wasn't afraid to spend a little jack when he bought the cue, so who knows.

I'd say there is a dman good chance it is a Scruggs.

I had one just like it, but without wrap.

Anyone?

Black balled said that his cue had TS markings...this one has NO MARKINGS...
can anyone identify this cue or confirm that it may be a TS?

With such a simple cue it's pretty hard just from pictures alone
to identify a cue with 100% certainty.

I can tell you I have owned 5 or 6 of Tim's sneaky's and the very
first name that came to my mind when I saw the first picture was "Scruggs".

Everything about this cue is similar or identical to what Tim used on
many of his sneaky's. I don't see anything that would lead me to believe
it is anything other then a Scruggs.

Almost everything points to TS... My only concern (and a SAMLL one), would be that he didn't use a black buttcapp too often. Occasionally, yes... But not very often.

Lots of those conversions had black butts from what I've seen. Lot of Scruggs cues came to Indiana in late 80's and 90's that were these sneaky conversions.
