Seems like a low end pool cue.
It would make sense as my family was quite poor in those days.

With replaceable screw in tips , if you own it my suggestion is don't break with it thing's may go badly very quickly if you do . ha ha
Would work great as prop if you can Play n Hustle.

Most servicemen won those in Okinawa and brought them back and now they are family heirlooms.

I have 1 like it but mine is all hand carved no points. It's even in a black hard case like that one. A guy that worked for my wife knew that we played pool and gave it to her. Screw on tip and all it's been in the closet for years as I don't the nerve to take it out of the house lol.
It's at an estate sale. It just caught my attention since my dad had one.
I have much nicer cues but thought that, since it was around 50 years old, it might have some value.
I was playing pool against a guy around 30 years ago. I was lamenting about my dads cue while he was admiring my Adam. He had told me the tale of those cues going for $1500 or more. I didn't actually believe him at the time but saw the cue and though I'd finally Snope that tale.
The estate sale company that's representing it has a habit of trashing whatever doesn't sell on the weekend.
Since it's not that rare, I'll let it go. Maybe someone will want it but it's not worth my time (the sale is 30 miles from me).
