Can anyone identify this tip and ferrule?

This is a Jacoby Edge Break/Jump I just got from a guy who wasn't sure what they are. It jumps effortlessly and imparts quite a bit of spin. It feels different than Samsara, but It's tough for me to compare with other tips I've had because I've always had a phenolic or brass ferrule on my jump shafts. Odega and Aegis, maybe?

Definitely not a Samsara.

The layers look thick like a black diamond tip. Just a guess.

Odega tips are black so could be one. As far as Aegis, it is a hard material but no way to tell from a picture.

The ferrule has a distinct, prominent weave pattern right? I believe jacoby uses linen based micarta as their default ferrule.

Yes it does. Almost looks like white phenolic.

I have a Samarsa on my J/B and that's what it looks like.

But you know tips, they all look the same. :grin-square:

It just doesn't feel the same as the other Samsara tips I've had. It feels softer. To be fair, the two I've had were on phenolic ferrules, so it's of course possible it feels different because of the ferrule material.
