can anyone tell me the value of ivory?

do not cut
if i had these i would not cut them, i believe they are worth more money as a display set, you can buy plenty of small pieces for cue building, but once these are cut all they are worth is the ivory weight. btw i have about 50 pieces of carved ivory on display at my jewelry store, the largest pieces are a pair of carved elephant tusk about 24 inches long, and a scrimshawed walrus tusk 25 inches long.

Ivory sells by the pound.
Last I heard, it's over $100 a pound.
That's the best way to sell it.
Call Schick, Bender, Black, Tascarella, Barry, some one like that.
They will give you top dollar usually.

20 years or more is really required for quality results.
$120 a pound was low for old sizeable tusk sets and singles.
