To the installer who stapled the cloth to the bed and rails using 1/4X1in narrow crown staples and mounted the cushions upside down with liquid nail adhesive and wrung three rail bolts off. F### YOU!!!! Sorry had to let some steam out. Please delete if you must.

Hack

You really should post pics of this in the hack work section. I think the only thing better recently was the cushion being stapled on! Glad to see you posting again.

Who hired the installer, was his work references checked out first, was he referred by someone else?'

Just a local table here in Lancaster CA. Its all good now. I started to walk away from the job, but I felt sorry for the customer's kid who was excited about getting the table fixed.

Ouch 'that sucks, I know how you feel. I've seen some unbelievable things, I don't know how someone could come to the terms they do when working on pool tables and think they are doing good work by putting cloth/cushions upside down and several other things you mentioned.
The construction adhesive is strong stuff, did chunks of wood come off when removing old cushions?
Hope not.
Best of luck.

I had to use a razor to slice the rubber off then grind the leftovers off with a drill and a stripping wheel. After trying to get a few of the staples out, I gave up and just had to cut the crowns off flush with the wood and flattened out any finger pokers.
