As the titles says...would like to find out the value of this old Meucci cue. I know these are pretty rare. Also, what are your thoughts about sending it for refinishing.
The cue is straight together and apart.
Thanks!

WOW. Seen a LOT of Meucci's but never this one. If no one here has a clue contact Budget Billiards. Cool cue.

Why are these things so cool? They're not but they are, know what I mean?

Yup. I get that.

I really can't speak with any authority on the value but there are those that are crazy for such cues which does tend to keep the values strong.

One thing that Meucci does well (for the most part) is design. That is a great looking cue. If I was a collector, I'd want this one.

If this cue is reasonably sound and straight, with a decent original shaft, and you want to sell it, I would not refinish, as this is much more of a collector's cue now for a Meucci enthusiast, then a players cue; and many would want it not refinished as collectors. Limited market, given reasonable condition and an original shaft, I would estimate someone looking to acquire this cue as a collector, or perhaps a native American player, would be in the $300 to $500 range.

Beautiful cue, it was also made with ebony instead of the maple. refinished on ebay this cue will sell for 1200 - 1500 easy.

I think this valuation is more accurate.
