Yes Dave is very reasonable and has a nice pool room.

What is with restaurants,nightclubs and poolrooms wanting to hold peoples credit cards and/or drivers license?I usually tell them that I like to keep the contents of MY wallet in my wallet.This is not a problem for me because I prefer to use cash but it is often more convenient to run a tab when playing pool.

I apologize if I seemed condescending. I only meant to give a little good advice. I am very direct and often come across a bit brusque.

However you handle your money or your debt is your business. However, you made it public when you posted it in this public forum. So you have to expect idiots like myself and others to respond with their opinions.

And, at the risk of insulting you more, if you pay off your credit balance every month, why are worried about your credit score??

I'm not. The whole point of this thread is that pool halls are lumped together with massage parlors and pool as a sport may never gain credibility. I find that sad.

I would guess if I used credit cards enough at poolhalls, then it looks like my credit score would suffer and I wouldn't even know why. To use this criteria seems very heavy-handed since I don't even drink when I am there. :shrug:

Man I guess I am hosed, yesterday I had my tires retreaded, then stopped by the massage parlor on my way to the bar, after I had a few drinks I went to the billiard hall then I had to go the marriage counseling office because my wife found out about the massage parlor.
