can you do the kamui shots?

i'm sure you guys have seen these videos before
http://www.kamuitips.com/video/

can you do any of these shots? if so which ones?

anyone feel like video them shooting a few of these and posting them?

#5 looks doable with some inside, the rest require either a better stroke or different cloth than I have, or both.

By the way, did you see the failed straight pool videos I posted? I noticed you mentioned that in another thread.

I think anyone with a good stroke can do any of these shots...

I can do all of them with a house cue with a beat up tip. Really.

....and this is not some bs talk, just stating a fact and attempting to show that someone who plays as poorly as I can do some simple stroke shots :)

i just responded to it. pretty strong runs. you improve your patterns and you'll be running hundreds in no time

HaHa... I already have videos of these shots.. go look on youtube for some of my matches... I'm not an APA anything btw...

...but if someone thinks that shooting these shots makes you a "good" pool player, and they really want to see someone else do it besides the original guy, I may take some time and go shoot them.

They really aren't that hard...in fact... most of them are particularly easy. Half of these I shoot on a daily basis.

Why doesn't someone come up with some real stroke shots....

post a link of your youtube handle so i can find the videos.

look i know these shots are achievable by anyone who's willing to put in the work. that doesn't make them not impressive.

i'm no fan boy man. i just like checking out impressive stroke shots.

i've tried and i can't make any of these shots! that's ok though because it justifies me asking for weight every time i match up

I don't post videos of myself shooting pool on youtube, but others have.

You can just look up my name...

Honestly, there are much more difficuly stroke shots. These are basic, "look what I can do" shots that any decent player can shoot. I could teach half of these to an APA 5 fairly quickly. A couple of them do require a bit stronger stroke, but nothing unattainable.

that apa rating system isn't something i take serious. most people that play leagues, from what i've seen, are a little funny to begin with. rule book jockeys or practice jockeys.

the point of this thread is that the guy shot some pretty impressive stroke shots and i was wondering if anyone here can or has shot them.

you've got your own website (http://www.AdamWheeler.com/ ) to tute your own pool playing horn. you coming on here saying that the shots aren't cool aren't that hard is a real buzz kill thing to do.

i checked out your match on youtube and you shoot pretty well. the pockets on that table looked a hair big and the guy you're playing isn't keeping the heat on you but that's neither here nor there. the point is just because you play well doens't mean you have to jump in and act like nothing anyone else does is impressive just because you can do it.

you want people to stroke your ego start your own thread or fix the video link on your site

First of all, I added a link to my site of my Instructional Video so a couple relatives could go look at it without me sending them a dvd.

I don't have to toot my own horn btw...

You asked if anyone could do the shots and I was merely pointing out that there are probably 10 million pool players in the world who could do these shots. That's not a buzz kill.. maybe you only play in a little bar and have never seen anyone draw their rock. Sorry to ruin something so "magical" for you.

HaHa... you wouldn't know good playing if it ran out on you...

I don't need anyone to stroke my ego... I am not your typical pool player.. I only do it because I love the game.

I sometimes forget that the skill level of 99% of the people posting on here is not that high. I should just leave you to your amusements.

Btw, the link is fine... perhaps your pc needs some looking after (I do that for a profession if you need any assistance.)

i'm not asking every pool player in the world. i'm BS'ing with the locals right here on az. honestly though. i know i don't play that well. if i did i'd have my own website and i'd be on here telling everyone "that's not impressive at all. i could do that with a broom stick" every chance i got!lol

you are a buzz kill man.

you are a buzz kill man.

Your'e right... I am...

...and I will never tell anyone that "aiming/kicking/banking systems" don't really work either, just so they can have their little thrill of the moment.

You asked the community a question and I thought the shots were rather easy, and I happen to personally know about 2000 other players who can execute the shots without fail and I said so. If this ruins your perception of the "difficulty" of the shots, I apologize. I will never tell you how the top ball goes in one-pocket either... :)

I have no stake in either side of this, but i will say that if anyone posted the way you posted, totally conceited, then you had better be able to back it up with a video of you shooting the same shots, on the same equipment, with the same results.

I don't care who you are, drawing the CB 18 feet is a tough task, and is not something 10 million people can do. Especially not jacked up on the rail.

So, since your tech savvy, I assume you have at least a fancy cell phone with a camera, record it, post it and get people off your back. Otherwise, it's just talk.

The community has generally said most of these shots are difficult and impressive - so for you to say all of these people are wrong... You know 2000 pool players? and they can all do all of those shots?
...
okay.

i'm new to pool so i'm not surprised i can't do those shots, but there are some damn fine shooters in this town, and i'd be hard pressed to find anyone that can do all of them, with the same results.

Well, you don't know me and I'm really not conceited.. maybe blunt... I am just not trying to stall and hustle, and I don't care who knows how I shoot.

..and I can easily shoot all these shots and i don't care if anyone doesn't believe me on here. Those who know me know this is nothing.. I can show you shots you can't even fathom. If you are ever in Orlando, look me up... I would be more than happy to make your acquaintance and play some with you.

i don't really care what you tell people about banking systems. you like 'em use 'em.

you know 2000 players! wow i've been all over the world and i don't know 2000 people with the same hobby.

we all get it buddy. you're a strong player and you rub elbows with other strong players. good for you!

you think these shots are easy and from what i've read you're the only one that thinks they're easy. i've been playing for about 7 years and i doubt i can do more than 2 of them. of course i don't have my own site dedicated to my pool playing skill. maybe one day i can be the next adam wheeler and go around and tell people "that's not hard. i can do that. you'll have to take my word for it though because i don't do videos"

The "community" you refer to is generally of the lower rank in pool playing ability.

ummm... I probably know more than 2000 players.. not people...

Maybe the skill level in your town is not great, or your tables are extremely slow, or some mixture of the above.. :)

or maybe they don't practice doing extreme shots like the ones in the video. or i mean routine shots like the ones in the video. i can't count the number of times i've had to draw the ball 18 feet to get out. or stun the ball around a cluster and then have it draw back 5-6 feet.

another routine shot that i thought was pretty cool

hahahahah... this is why I normally don't post on here.... it turns the wrong way so fast... I didn't come on here to insinuate anything, or impress anyone, or anything.. just to maybe enlighten you..

have fun in your small world

once again.. drawing the length of the table is not extreme... I used to practice this everyday to build up my stroke.

we are on totally different wavelengths and skill levels, and its a little difficult to communicate ideas on the internet... I would rather show anyone in person then continue bantering on this dead horse..
