Can you spot where the "round points" end and the "Sharpee'd points" begin?

Bottom line is that you have handled this badly. However I'm sure that you have had alot of other GOOD deals that there were no issues. My comments were based solely on this one deal, So I won't waste anymore of your time & I hope it turns out well for everyone involved. Good luck to everyone involved.

Thats your bottom but I have not handled it badly .
Read what Markus said he said if he was me he wouldnt have refunded the cue without seeing it first . 3 members had this cue and didnt see this that combined with what Evan told me himself made wonder just what was going on .Yet I still agreed to refund minus shipping . If I felt like I mislead anyone on the cue I would gladly refund in full . I have offered full refunds in the past and PoolPlayerCp has posted in this thread to that effect .
I have done nothing wrong here so just keep it going all you want .

I thought the pictures that were posted in this thread showed beyond a doubt that they are round CNC points that were painted to look like sharp full splice points. I guess I just don't understand why there would be any doubt about it when the high resolution close up photos make it plain as day to see. The only question should be if it originally came from the factory like that (which only Evan can answer), although I'm sure that it didn't.

Personally if I had been the seller I would have just told him right away to send the cue back to me and after I checked to see if it was in fact just like the pictures, then I would have refunded the full purchase price and all of the shipping and apologized profusely for never having noticed the issue with the points.

Maybe it is best though that at this point after the rocky start you guys got off to that for everybody's peace of mind it goes to the trusted third party to verify it in person. It all just seemed so unnecessary. I hope this all works out for both of you as it should.

your not.larry is as honest as they come.i know.i'v had lots of dealings with him.i sold him the r2 and as i said before i sure never noticed any wrong.as far as i know the fellow i got it from never knew.the guy i sent it to for 3 days never knew.to say these things about larry was just wrong and mean.larry is my friend ,why would i not tell him if i knew?in a few days it will be over and this forum will have lost just the type of people this forum needs and wants.no matter how this comes out the words spoken here you will never be able to take back.

With all due respect to iowa_player and magix, the altered points can be very hard to spot with bare eyes. 1st thing I noticed was the difference in color on the tips of the points, used a magnifying glass and saw the grain of the maple under the sharpied part, took some pics (digital zoom at +2 exposure) then I saw the round points under the marker. I don't think anybody tried to pull a fast one here.
