Pics of the Canadians Black Crowns at the Hall of Famers, Dallas West. New rubber, facings with Simonis. I will have to say that these tables are junk. They are not even close to a Gold Crown. These are the first ones i have worked on and hope i do not have to do any others. Ron

Ron, I was able to view all but the last picture. Nice work... bad tables.
I have some Berringer GC knock offs same thing... look OK built like crap!

LCCS looks like good work. Since they are right down the street from me I'll have to check them out. I'm glad they finally put some money into the tables there !

By the way how many of them did you recover ?

tables

I just did one, for now. I may have to do a new billiard table. It is coming soon. Thanks, Ron Lyman

tables

That is a good question. The light was turned off as soon as i was done. Joe was saving it for the Sunstrand league. Thanks, for the post, Duane. I understand the tables look great at Shooters. Good job! See ya, Ron:smile:

Yeah I did. I only stayed there for a hour or so though. I was hoping they were going to have all of the tables recovered. Since they all need to be done except for the diamond and the one you just did.

Pockets look real good Ron, next time turn the Simonis playing surface side out in the pocket:grin: What do you think about finishing the pockets that way?

pockets

Only you would notice, that. After i did it, i noticed it. I said dam, but for my first time, it was, ok. I like the look and the end result, but it is like anything else. Once you get the hang of it, it will go faster and it will be fine. I have gotten a lot of compliments and that is what counts. Thanks, RKC. I have learned a lot from you and i hope you keep bringing tips for the RKC MECHANICS UNION.:happydance: :happydance:

Any chance you can explain why you feel these are junk tables. I'm looking at getting a used one and don;t want to make a mistake
Thanks
