........ as useless as tits on a bull?
Very appropriate.
I really wish there were more opportunities for people to participate in the Canadians. I understand the open events have to send players to world championships but for the AM division, its pretty expensive. $175 if I remember correctly, Im not sure what the winner gets cash wise but its nothing like a $175 added money tournament similar to what the Canadian 9 ball tour did or something like Turning Stone where the winner pockets $8k.
Lower the entry fee for the AM, move the pro event to during the week *they dont work anyways, who cares what day it is?!?!* you'll increase the size of the AM event and that money will feed towards the pro event (obviously)
Its not rocket science, there are many ways to improve the CBSA and if the people filling the spots currently cant see any of them, maybe its time to get new people?
All great suggestions Dan but you need to bring them up at a forum that counts, the annual AGM during the tournament. Personally we are trying to secure enough funds to send a female and a male to the amateurs along with some expense money for our top junior from the Lucasi Amateur Shootout. Our final is March the 10th and we are GUARANTYING $1000 added...you must have partipated in 2 out of the 8 events, there are 3 left...Feb 4th at STrokers in London, Feb 11th at Big Wigs in Newmarket, then the last qualifier is March 3rd at Strokers in London before the GRAND FINALE MARCH 10TH & 11TH IN NEWMARKET AT BIG WIGS.
