Can't decide which cue to keep...

I definitely COULD NOT get rid of the BCM cue. It's beautiful! My advice would be to purchase an OB Classic shaft for the McD and keep them both.

Maniac (who really just has ONE cue anymore???)

The Questions:

1. The big lump of steel joint on the Mcdermott, could it be the cause of deflection, would it maybe be better with a 314-2 shaft? (I'm not a fan of z2-shafts)

2. Which cue should I keep? and why?

At the risk of sounding repetitive as well as asinine...

I like the idea of keeping both. The big lump of steel joint will affect your balance, but not the squirt (cueball deflection)...

I would suggest... to fit the shaft of your choice (be it 314-2 or OB or whatever) to each cue. Unfortunately, that does mean two different shafts, but you will have a better chance at consistency if you use the same shaft type for each cue.

Freddie <~~~ and if you want to sell one , the BCM will sell pretty quickly on here

I am in a struggle with my self....

2. Which cue should I keep? and why?

Hey, Train ... just in case you're still struggling let me add my vote to the chorus of keeping them both. Why? Because if you don't one day in the future you will rue your decision to lose one!

I must admit I could do with the cash from selling one of the cues, to get a 314-2 or OB Classic for the other... But I think I will hold on to both cues for now, then start saving a bit for a shaft :-)

Thank you all for helping me decide.

The I3 has very little deflection, I've never used the I2, just hard to believe it deflects as much as you say it does, but it is a different shaft.
