Just for reference I have a Gold Crown 4 and have never had any issues with it. I love my table and feel very fortunate to have it in my rec room.

Depending on where you live you may not, but hot environments dry the frame wood out, which causes it to shrink, then the frame can't be tightened up enough to keep the end crossmembers from sagging.
It'd be easy to bolt some L-brackets, angle irons or some block to support the frame. I'd do it just for insurance.
Same here. I have a GC IV with no sag and love the way it plays. But then my basement is both heated in the winter and air conditioned in the summer.

My table wasn’t sagging but I’m doing it as a precaution. I want to weed out as many potential problems as I can. I could literally be using this table for s few decades. I do know the problem exists because the room I used to play in had GC IVs and some of them developed a corner sag.

Have you ever checked the end to end level of your slates with a machinist level, 2" out reading the length of the table lined up with the end rail center diamond? And yes, sitting on the end rails can effect the level, but not as much as the bad design.
