I've been trying since October 10th to get in touch with Schon cues, using the email addresses and phone number on their website, with no luck. I realize they are not easy to get a hold of, based on other threads, but this seems very strange given how long it's been and how many attempts I've made. Does anyone have an alternate number or know what's going on with them? Thanks in advance for any help.

i was trying for a couple weeks to get info about having a schon i have refinished by them.. with no luck of replies to any of my emails or answering their phone, i gave up and trying.. hope you have better luck.. my cue is going to proficient..

Try getting in touch with Deanoc (Dean) on the Forum. He is really close with Evan Clarke and Deanoc was the person that persuaded Evan to produce the tribute cues series. Anyway, if anyone can get in touch with Evan, or tell you how to do it, Dean is the guy.

I emailed maybe a year or more ago. Still no reply! Oh well it wasn't a big deal on my end just a question but I could see the grrrr.... Factor if you needed something important.

I would imagine things are difficult at Schon right now..

Thanks for replies

Thanks to all who replied. I was able to get the info I was looking for from an AZ member. Thanks to him as well.

I always laugh when I see this.
I rarely ever have an issue calling them.
On the other hand, I don't ever email.
They are up and fully operational.
Evan is great to work with.
John is a good guy as well.
I sue the same number posted on the web site.
I know I usually call in the afternoon.

Evan is great to work with.

I've been in the shop....Evan is good people.
He gave me a tour....showed me a zillion dollars worth of ivory.
I told him "I wish you hadn't showed me that."
Evan asked "Why?"
I said "Cause now I feel like a peanut butter sandwich.....and I'm now afraid of mice."

Yeah, well Evan thinks I'm funny...

As being a Schon Stocking Dealer, this post certainly drew my attention as my orders come in on schedule, the most recent about three weeks ago. I sent a email to Schon Cues and made the phone call. John answered and I mentioned this post and of course gave him my concern. I do know that if they are running shaft machines, those things are loud as John confirmed. John sent me a email for me to post for all az billiard members.

I am also going to personally mention to all az members who have a question on a Schon Cue. If your wanting an opinion on a Model # or a value, I will try and do my best to get you an answer. I'm not making excuses for Schon Cues as I can't, but, a great number of emails they get is for history and values. I will do my best to help as I know a couple of long time Schon enthuisists who may help me if I don't have the information. Many variables to Schon Cues over the years and it takes time to narrow some of them down. My email is sales@cdand.com and you can send me photo's with questions and I'll try my best along with the other two folks I know to get you the best answers we can.
Here is the response from Schon Cues, this morning 10-30-2013 Thanks, Chuck

" Subject: RE: JUST GIVING JOHN AND EVAN A HEADS UP !!!! PLEASE READ !!, From Chuck Dvorak

Hello Chuck,

Thanks for the email. I assure you we are very much in business and are very busy. A couple of reasons some people may not get a hold of us. First, we are extremely busy right now. We only have three people in the shop and only two that answer the phone and can answer questions(Evan and myself). With being this busy means Evan and myself are on a machine 80-90% of the time and cannot always hear the phone. Second, our shop hours are from 7-3:30 M-F central standard time. Any calls after that cannot be answered. As far as emails we have had some issues with the server and spam folders. We receive a ton of emails mostly cues needed to be identified. We do our best to find time to get to them but sometimes we get so far behind some may fall through the cracks.

Now that this has come to my attention we will make a better effort to be more accessible. Thanks again for the email and I hope this puts any untruths to bed.
