Hey everyone,
Play started a few minutes ago. I have Tony Crosby and Keith Bennett on Table 3 and Robb Saez and Richie Richenson on Table 4. With the list of players and races to 10 looks like it'll be along day, but an exciting one.
Kay

Tony Crosby and Keith Bennett are tied 8-8. Really close match. At this point Crosby is checking out the table to see hwo he's going to make a shot on the 5 which is blocked by the 10 ball. Crosby missed and Bennett gets ball in hand with 6 balls on the table and the 8

The match between Saez and Richenson is goinng slow with the score tied 5-5. Richenson has the break.

Bennett wins First round

Keith bennett won his first round against Tony Crosby 10-9

They are both very competitive and there's a lot riding on these matches.

BTW...Mitch said to tell you to shut up.....What's going on with you two?

When he gets old enough I'll buy him a beer. Untill then he will sit with me and watch the events with his Pepsi

Working on it...I'm the ref too so I'm triple duty today.
Saez beat Richieson 10-9
Broumpton 5 and Bennett 4

Well, I KNOW that Richie Rich doesn't slow play. What's the deal ?

Doug
( it's Richeson :-)

Well, maybe Richie is normally on the lemon trying to hustle someone for a few bucks. It's easy to play fast when yer stalling. Now that he has something to play for, he's playing slow. That's what it seems like to me. Richie could give Ed Porter the 6 or 7 out when Ed was playing a lot. And run over him like a freight train.

I've seen how well he can really play. He is always on the lemon in weekly tournaments trying to get someone to gamble with him.

What a Champion, eh?

Now Linda's hubby Mike Zimmerman, THAT man's a champion! Against the toughest competition that Washington state could throw at him, he won one weekly tourney like 7 or 8 times in a row! Money in the bank, baby!! YEAH!

Is Josh Degler playing? I don't know if he is allowed in Capone's. I've heard he's been permanently kicked out of one or two places...

You're out of touch Russ (as usual). Richie first came into Planet 9-Ball years ago giving Ed Porter and everyone else there the last five in nineball for 100 jellybeans a set (race to five) and busted them all. He plays nineball, banks, one-pocket, etc. at a brisk pace and DOESN'T stall. He may have slowed down for 8-ball IPT Qualifier, but not stalling or looking to set up later action. Richie is what he is and that's a fast player. You suspect everyone of unscrupulous hustling. I think you hold your pool shortcomings to percieved tactics of better players. You're a mediocre player at best and I'm not saying that to start an argument with you, it's only my opinion. I've seen you play in nineball tournaments and I've played one-pocket with you for money. I'm as entitled to my opinion as you are to yours....
your buddy,
Doug

Robb Saez won against Tony Crosby 10-8

Richie Richenson and Rob Saez are playing on the one lost side while Will Bilbrey and Richard Broumpton are playing on the winners side. Who ever wins between Broumpton and Bilbrey is guaranteed a spot
