Carbon Fiber Butt with Carbon Fiber Shaft

The Becue website says there are advantages to using a carbon fiber butt with a carbon fiber shaft. Anyone with thoughts or experience with this?

For me this is totally cool because one can order a 31 inch shaft and 31 inch butt.
This is usually something only accomplished using extensions.
I play with a 3" extension between shaft and butt, taking my cue from 58" to 61".
This cue would eliminate that hassle and having to be worried that if I lose the extension I'm screwed since the guy who made mine is not in business any more and the cue rolls perfectly straight as is. Took him several tries but he got it done in the end.
I may have to get me one of these things. 30" shaft with a 31" butt might be perfect for me.

I'd still want a wrap and plain cues are boring. I'd want some points even if they are just painted on

It's great to see a company offer 30 and 31 inch butts and shafts. As a taller guy this is bueno. Also for those that play a lot on 9ft tables the extra length can make a big difference not having to use and extension or bridge. I am not a CF fan I like well sorted wood but this is a nice offering for sure.

Are you aware that their butts are only 1.21" in diameter? I think most people who would want to order a 62" cue probably have bigger hands, and they might be more comfortable with a 1.29" butt. I'm not sure why Becue doesn't offer a range of butt sizes, like 1.21, 1.25, and 1.29 inch. Also, Becue uses a proprietary joint on their butts, so you are stuck using their shafts.

On the plus side, edwu's video shows that a Becue gives you more power than a Mike Lambros Maximum Energy Transfer cue.

Cues don't teach you anything. A better Cue, might give you an advantage, but if you ain't on your game, you might wish you had your ol' Cue back.. Did you know that a dime radius tip & an off center hit will create more deflection, than a nickel radius tip...?
