Not every CF shaft sources tubes from same manuf./supplier. Also, some actually make their own tubes. Not many but some.Your going to have to try them out. I've shot with nothing but predator shafts for 20+ years. I had the oppertunity to use a CF predator shaft and i liked the hit so i bought two. If i was in the market for another brand Cuetec is at the top of the list
From what i've seen everyone gets the CF tubes from the same place. But what they do to assemble then is diffirent. This is done with ferrule length and what foam they fill the shaft with. I know predator will do a custom shaft for you, but i think most of that has to do with joint and shaft weight.
Very good point about the Cuetec feeling like a wooden shaft. I have never played any CF shaft except the Cuetec and since i did it's all I use. There is nothing about the hit of that shaft that makes me think of anything except a very nice playing shaft, not a nice tube or nice wooden, just nice playing shaft, period.Definitely try both, they play and feel very differently. They are both great, with cuetec feeling consistent between different diameter shafts. Predator 11.8 versus 12.4 does not feel or sound the same IMO.
Predator has slightly less deflection on hard shots, again IMO. Mezz and Cuetec feel more similar to wood shafts than Predator.
I cannot imagine that the top cue manufacturers are all getting their carbon fiber shafts from the same source. Not a chance.Your going to have to try them out. They are not the same, they do not play the same but
BOTH are very good.
Hi garczar, would you say the Rhino stiffness is like the Cynergy? The Rhino at $199 plays great. Guy at the hall got one and i liked it. Def not wood but plays great.
Pretty stiff. 12.7mm Deflect. seemed fairly low. Very well made.Hi garczar, would you say the Rhino stiffness is like the Cynergy?
And how about deflection, is it like the Revo?
OP sorry to post on this thread but what garczar suggested might be worth looking into.
Thank you I am going to look into it.Pretty stiff. 12.7mm Deflect. seemed fairly low. Very well made.
Probably pretty close from what i could tell.Thank you I am going to look into it.
Can you put the low deflection next to a Cynergy or Revo so we can have a better gauge of the deflection range?

Can you expound on the reasons? is it the new Jacoby Cf shaft?I have a Cuetec and Jacoby cf shaft. I like the Jacoby better
