Greetings,
I am selling this Carolina Custom (the same cue as here, only with 3 shafts).
$(Sold) shipped in continental U.S. (Cue + shafts only, case not included... I was just showing you all how it has been stored. Also, I've had a couple of trade offers, and I should have specified up front that I'm not interested in any trades at this time.)
Like all CCs that I have ever had, this one hits really well. However, I haven't been playing with it, and it has just been sitting in the case for quite a while, so someone should be getting some good out of it.
I had Trevor make CC JPs for the butt and all three shafts:
This is a classic design, beautifully executed by Carolina Custom:
3/8" joint
diamonds are ivory, butt cap is not, nor are the ferrules...
Butt = 15.3oz
Shaft 1 = 3.7oz/12.8mm
Shaft 2 = 3.7oz/12.9mm
Shaft 3 = 3.7oz/13.0mm
Two of the three shafts have some finish problems at the joint. I am lowering my asking price some because of that. Further, if you send in the two shafts and have Trevor rework the finish, just have him send me the bill (I'm sure it won't be much).
When pricing the cue, remember that it has JPs and a 3rd shaft added.
Finally, I've had a number of PMs asking for my 'bottom-line' price. I have quite a bit more than $(Sold) in this cue and JPs. This, and the fact that I'm open to paying Trevor for the finish rework on two of the shafts, makes $(Sold) my bottom-line. (In fact, I'm regretting, a little, that I only put $(Sold) on it, but there it is...)
p.s. On the subject of the Longoni case, it turns out that this is one of those Limited Edition Predator cases by Longoni, and, yeah, it is pretty cool. I only have one problem with those cases, and that is that, while the case offers good protection, the foam holders are loose enough that lateral impacts tend to dislodge the cues. I place a piece of foam over the openings before closing the case to keep that from happening, and it works well (I think that probably all the Longoni cases suffer from this problem - they probably should have devised some sort of hold-down mechanism to address that, or just made the foam tighter).
