Amazing cue by CAROLINA CUSTOM CUES with just the right amount of IVORY & SILVER inlays and wonderful veneers. Custom Joint Caps by CC with matching rings and Ivory top inserts w CC logo are included.

BUTTSLEEVE: EBONY with IVORY notched diamonds and SILVER squares! "CC" logo on white butt cap. Rubber bumber w/ small weight bolt.

FOREARM: Curly maple with 4 Ebony points veneered of Natural-Grey-Red-Black. GREAT COMBO! Long even points have IVORY notched diamonds and silver squares like butt.

RINGS: Sweet SILVER silver outlined circles at ALL positions A B C D E.

WRAP: Black leather that has a beautiful grain/texture.

WEIGHT: Butt: 14 (weight bolt adjustable)
Shaft: 4.2 and 12.71 LMB Ferrule / Everest Tip.
Shaft: 4.0 and 12.61 LMB Ferrule / Everest Tip.

JOINT: 3/8 X 10 pin w SOLID IVORY.

JOINT PROTECTORS: Matching SILVER circle RINGS & CC Logo on tops.

CONDITION: Cue is almost new (95% condition). There are no nicks or dings of any kind; however, the joint has a couple of surface hairline cracks (common with Ivory). Please don't ask for pics because my camera might not even pick these up. In addition both shafts have small clearcoat issues at the joint area (one has a 1/4"chip and the other has a couple of small scratches). Needless to say, play is not affected whatsoever. So there you have it!

IMO the buyer would be crazy to change the joint because of a few hairline cracks.. I have seen the same thing on cues that were 30years old and it never changed or affected the way the cue played.. Purely aesthetic at this point I would expect.. Very nice cue by the way... Good luck with your sale

I don't think anyone could go wrong with this cue. First and foremost, what a great seller by laying all the cards face up at the outset.
Secondly, I wouldn't be too worried about the joint if it's actually like the OP described. And lastly, the price is great. If I was looking
for a player cue, which I am not, then this would be my choice. If anyone was looking to get their 1st ivory joint cue, this is a good choice.

Thanks, guys. It's a classic design ... similar to what you see in cues costing up to 5 to 10 times as much!

I agree. This is a seriously nice cue for that money. And CC cues play as well as any cue out there.

GLWS.

The only thing I can think of that has delayed this cue's sale is the mention of the hairline cracks.

Maybe you should see about getting someone to photo your cue's joint using the camera on a Apple
or Galaxy S5 phone. If you take pics of the cue joint under the pool table lights using the camera's macro
feature, the cracks you've mentioned should be visible. I viewed the ivory joints and also the ivory ferrules
on my cues using my S5 phone at the pool hall. You'd definitely notice if there's anything seriously wrong
with your cue's flat ivory joint as the detail in the pictures is pretty incredible.

Down deep, even though I know the resale market is really weak, I can't figure out why your great cue and
recently on AZ a couple of monster Hercek cues experienced a hard time getting sold as fast as I otherwise
had imagined based great asking prices. Can the the market be this weak? Anyway, think about adding some pics.

Bavafongoul, I appreciate the suggestion. I suspect that anybody who has enough experience with Ivory joints already knows what I'm referring to. They are superficial .. virtually no depth.
I think that the weight of this cue may be hurting the sale as well. It's really designed to be played at no more than 18.5oz, although it will go a bit higher than that. I like 18oz cues so I love it.

It is my policy to take back any cue that I sell for any reason within a reasonable period of time.

In this instance, I'll go 1 step further. I will pay 100% of the shipping cost back to me if anything I have stated is inaccurate or 50% of the shipping cost back to me if the cue is returned for any reason.

Thanks for all the trade offers. The trade value will be considerably higher than the cash price.
I will consider:
Production: Predator LE / SE, Samsara or Mezz / Exceed
Custom: Trade up only (I can add another cue and/or cash)
