I know that Musashi cues are made by Adams -- the same company that does Helmstetter and Buffalo (Nick VD Berg uses / is sponsored by them). They make good cues in my opinion, for mid-level production cue. If you want to go higher-end Japanese, check out Mezz. Jasmin Ouchan and Mike Immonen use Mezz. I've hit with Mezz and they're great.

I was just checking out billiardwarehouse.com and I saw they had some new cues from companies I had never heard of.

Carolina Customs and Musashi Cues. I think I heard that a couple pro players from Japan play with Musashis.

I was also wondering if anyone had tried the Universal cue line and what women think of the new Athena line of cues "for women by women".

Carolina Cues are from Pete Tascarellas kid. From what I have heard excellent quality stuff they are turning out. If I had the cash, I would definately get one now. I like the ability to customize it down to the woods used..... very rare for a "production" style cue.
