The two top sets of digits are for the scores of the two players. When you finish your turn you go to the board and add in the points that you just ran by turning the nobs to get the right total. The player who has the white cue ball is on the left and the other cue ball is on the right.could someone explain how you keep score with that score board??

the nobs go from 0 to 9
you turn them one per point
can play to 99 points it looks like
or 999 points in say straight rail, and keep score of your innings
its not the most ideal ill say, like the ones in the hall I visit, have a white ball and yellow above
4 counters,
we mostly use the tops to show how many points we are playing to and the bottom for our individual score
ill admit I don't see why there is three digits on the top ones but it was just an example of the type im lookin for

In addition, when the white ball puts up his score, he turns the bottom wheels to add one. That counts the innings. Many carom players are interested in how many innings it takes them to score a certain number of billiards.
The score wheels go up to 1000 and the inning wheels go up to 100. Straight rail matches are often to several hundred points.
