Case for Lucasi raised grip cues

I now have 2 Lucasi raised grip cues and they will not fit into any of my cases. Any suggestions on a line of cases or options that fit these cues? It is not something I thought about when buying them. Thank you.

Most of the time they will go into our cases with no problem as long as you pull a shaft out first to allow them to go past the extra padding without hanging up.

We also offer a sleeve that you can put the butt into and then put that into the case.

Finally, as the interiors are removable on all new JB Cases you can simply have us build you a custom interior for any new case you purchase from us at no extra charge that is made especially for your rubber gripped cue.

The one is 18mm at the bottom and the others are more standard at 13mm. Does that sound okay?

I would imagine your issue occurs with cases that feature the non-structurally supportive sleeves to hold butts & shafts (see below)

If you use a case that has a pre-formed, structured cylinder slots, I think your problem will disappear (see below)

I use a basic Whitten Case and there's absolutely no problem with my Lucasi LHC90...and that's a raised grip cue.

If you're not looking to spend that kinda cash the Joe Porper cases would work well.

They have the felt lined, cylinder tubes I spoke of. They're good looking cases and they provide excellent protection.

Mueller has quite a few very nice Joe Porper cases still available in both the old school square style as well as the more modern oval. They also have them is most of the popular Butt/Shaft configurations and lots of colors to choose from. http://www.muellers.com/Pool-Cue-Cases.html. .

Good Luck!
